Apparently, Tammy Abraham has terminated his Villa loan to sign for Wolves. Probably a sensible move all round....apart from Villa. They're royally ****ed by it.
Young footballers are on crazy money these days. Two of my best mates are very good friends with Ryan Mason as they all went school together. He was earning £4K a week when he was 17 or 18, think he’d played just once or twice in Europa by this point. And this was like nearly ten years ago now so you can guarantee the money’s gone up since then.
They should probably sell us Grealish now so they can fund a move for a new striker to replace Abraham
Ligue 1 Watch Daily Mercato are reporting we want to sign two Ligue 1 players this month: Tanguy Ndombele and Nicolas Pepe Ndombele needs no more to be said (other than "So we do have the £75m, Daniel?"), but I don't buy Pepe as a target for two reasons, namely he's being linked with everyone so it sounds like his agent trying to kickstart an auction, coupled with him being little more than a French Townsend as he may have pace, control and a directness to his game but that usually translates as him being offside, dribbling down blind alleys or choosing to shoot instead of pass (and it says a lot his pass percentage is just 77%, which indicates how bad his decision-making is) while he also has a reputation for being one-footed, but more than anything else he's a complete passenger when the opponents have the ball which is something Poch will frown upon - but not as much as the full back and central midfielder having to work twice as hard to carry the load he can't be bothered with
NO NO NO NO NO HET HET HET HET HET NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NAO NAO NAO NAO NAO FECKOFF FECKOFF FECKOFF FECKOFF FECKOFF
The boy IMHO is some more Hazard 2012 gobshitery. Therefore I would prefer the club to pass on him (even though PSG would probably be reasonable in their transfer fee) .
A few days ago I made a comparison between him and Max Meyer, who talked a big game right out of Schalke's dressing room and right into...a spot on Palace's bench, and Rabiot is certainly heading the same way - although if Barca have signed De Jong, that may yet be the slap around the head Rabiot clearly needs
I’m gonna take that as a thumbs up to signing Super Jack but instead you’d rather it be GKN rather than Janssen going in the other direction. Thanks for coming on board the Grealish Express, RCL.
I think we will be selling Eriksen in the summer...looking for Coutinho type of money and then giving that to Poch. Only way Poch getting anything off Levy..Alli to play the Eriksen role and splashing the cash on a quality CM.
You can tell the transfer window's open as we're once again being linked with Franck Kessie, who has said he wants to leave Milan for Champions League football There's a slight problem with this, though: Kessie's at Milan on a two-year loan with an obligation to buy, meaning that even though he's open to leaving his loan will become a permanent move in the summer - and Milan will see him as an asset to sell
We will have no choice as he will have only one more year on his contract...him and Toby will be history next August
