I can only think there was some sort of assurances given to PL by Evans with regards to strengthening the team in January, and if those assurances are not met by Evans then I can see PL jumping ship.

I don't think PL saying what he wants to the media makes a blind bit of difference. Everyone will know we are desperate and that my friend will inflate the prices. The seller is totally in control with us.
It would be nice to think he's realised the error of his cheapskate ways and the thought of losing yet more money will jerk him into action.

Not impressed with this. One of the positions that we shouldn’t need to strengthen but due to the lack of any semblance of an ability to run a football club we are forced to. Just two more defenders needed to sign now assuming that Wolfy’s not coming back. Good luck to the lad.
Next one possibly coming through the door is Will Keane - Fprward from Hull. 25, two serious knee injuries, 6 goals in 45 starts and 33 sub appearances....so the bargain basement signings continue. Was hoping it might be different this time around. At least they are possibly coming in nice and early
