Just think how much money you could save if you had scouts that could spot talent and a manager that could develop it <whistle>

It’s a bit of a mixed bag. In patches we play nice football and look solid ish at the back. Then we move to a back three, then back to a four, then three and four!

The biggest error is no CF signed in the summer, if they have a target for this coming summer then I will give him a pass till next season as he sheds the deadwood.

If not then we are at the same stage we were with Bobby, but with a bigger outlay.

I think you are right about CF.

Lewin is never up to it. just isn't sorry.

Silva clearly doesn't fancy tosun at all.... and thats a style question, he might be decent and have proved he can cut it in the prem but he's a target man and silva wants a runner.

    for me:

Formation: Best is 4231, issue is the 1. you never try 433.

    GK: sorted.
    RB: decent options.
LB: digne looks up to it.
CB: hum.... I think this is an issue for silva and not his strong point. You've mina who's a big old shcool type. Kenae.. not great but those are your options
CMS: you've two, one on loan... you need more
LW: richaldson seems to be stuck out here. I think you ned to look at this
no 10: siggurdsson. for me no thanks
RW: walcott. just not a football, he was always a runner, bit brain dead for me.
CF: tosun for me is still best option.

You just need to get it together

It’s a bigger problem. The fans who drove out Bobby are the same here with Silva.

The unrest when Davies was coming on, toxic.

RB is our weakest defensive area, Coleman is on the downslope hence the reason we’ve been linked with the lad from Palace.

If we can keep Zouma on a permanent I think our CB area is fine. Keane (despite his error yesterday) has had a good season.

We’ve still got McCarthy for CM, who seems like the forgotten man. Davies needs a season out on loan imo.

We’ve got Bernard and Richarlison for the left wing berth.

We’ve also got Lookman to cover for the hit and miss Walcott.

Siggy as No.10 has got some of the best stats in the division in terms of chances created, what’s been lacking is a striker capable of capitalising on them. Tosun has been lacking confidence all season and DCL needs a season out on loan playing every week as a central striker. Stick Lukaku for example back in that side and we’d be a different proposition. Not sure it’ll be sorted in Jan, but it’s our main priority, along with RB.

A handful of booing arl arses and millennials doesn’t equate to fan unrest. I think Silva has got the backing of the vast majority. This season was always going to be a challenge, given the turnover in personnel and the complete change of style.

To be fair a lot of sides looked beat by end of december.

Leicester beat city and then lost to cardiff so it was really all about condition and having the settled system.

IMO you didn't have the time to be swapping systems and didn't have enough players either.

Come feburary you'll be back on track.

Bernard is another whos forgotten, Why don't you move richaldson to CF then?

Because Richi is ****e up front. He needs to stay left wing.

Wally is crap as well. You need to stick lookman in and give him a run.

Dcl is alright but not top notch.

Think zouma is terrible myself personally. Useful for backup.

As good as sigi is in the number 10, i think it night be worthwhile trying bernard there. He could be like david silva (with much ****ter passing) but he always looks like he has loads of time on the ball and move sigi into a cm spot like he plays for iceland

Because he drifts out wide to get the ball, CF may end up a position he plays, but it won’t be in the PL.

I think he's the aggression needed for it in the prem. he's a spicy character.

Anyway... he might drift wide but if you'd a manager like our you'd not see that as a bad thing at all.

If you play 4231 you want him right up top.

But play 433 and play bernard free with him and someone like lookman and it might all suddenly become great.

I'm sure klopp would have your lot top 6 (and not wumming) We all thought day 1 klopp would go 4231 and he utterly changed and the way he's got salah and firmino playing is completely blowing the no 9 must stay central thing away.

    Richi is ****e up top.

He cant play back to goal and hes not got the know how to out muscle and position himself so that the defenders cant get the ball. Also he generally loves to take a few touches rather than popping it off to the runners.

Also he has a 50p head

    Hes definitely a winger.

Difference is you have mane and salah who are both strong, frighteningly quick and can dribble. Tbf its the interchange and the quick footie abd movement that works. Wally has the movement and speed but is weak and cant dribble

Richarlison can dribble and has pace and power but for me his movement is lacking and decision making (passing it first time etc)

Zouma has been great in the main.

Bernard has been starting most weeks on the left with Richarlison playing centrally, keep up ffs <laugh>

The issue is, he’s not accustomed to playing that role in this league and he’s not at his best with his back to goal, or when faced with 2 grock CB’s and can be bullied off his game.

That’s like saying Lukaku can’t play with his back to goal! Play to a strength and on the last man/running from deep and both do well as a CF.

Dunno if it's to do with Silvas orders but he didn't seem to run in behind at all and seems very reactive to passes rather than running in at the right time (except when tries those awful long balls of him). I just find watching richarlison frustrating because he's pretty tough and strong on the wing but the cbs seem to out muscle him and his lack of movement and multiple touches doesnt seem to be the best for the team.

Dcl has actually surprised me in that respect as i thought he was turd a few years back but he's bulked up and can hold it up better than richi boy.
