Presumably from our time wasting mate.
Look, I'm as much into being professional and managing games as anyone, but you yourself say you were considering not going anymore because of all the time wasting.
I know everyone does it and we are just joining the trend, but I found our time wasting yesterday a tad embarrassing.
Lumley was very brave after receiving a cynical kick in the face and I'm a big fan of his.

Diving should receive an instant red
Time wasting should get an instant yellow
Do people really want to spend money watching time wasting

I’m not sure. I didn’t have my glasses on so it could have said “turd polisher” :1980_boogie_down: actually it could have said “you should have gone to Spec-savers”.
I would guess a “rocket polisher’s” job would be quite important as rockets need to be clean. As they are quite big. I would guess it would take some time....that’s it Uber! They think we are clean! :1980_boogie_down:

They are trying to suggest that we're all well-endowed in the trouser department, and it takes us so long to clean our appendages that we produce some special cream......

Agree with both posts. Don't want it in the game, but don't want to be the only club taking a stand.

Rugby has shown there is a simple solution.

Yes, an hour of ball-in-play is the way to stop this nonsense, and pretty easy to administer. Why not start a Not606 campaign, Ninesy? Did we really play 14 minutes added on time yesterday? If so, the Villa fans can have little to complain about. I did think our timewasting was embarrassing and unnecessary, though. We were level, why not try and win the game?

We did. Their keeper made a good save after about 88 from Eze. BOS should have played in Freeman for a great chance on about 101.

But we were also taking ages over every goal-kick and throw-in and doing the corner-flag routine. Just play properly and go for a win.

I really don’t see the issue given we were under the cosh, players were probably knackered and away to a better side (on paper). A point was a good result and we still created chances.

Very proud of my team at the moment and genuinely excited about them playing and cant wait for the games. something I cannot remember on a regular basis for a long time. Even McLaren is shocked I believe by how well we are doing with a very small squad. He mentioned the four loanees time and again as our saviours but three have been missing for a few games now and still the same results, effort and ability. I am even going to the Cup match and even though there will be changes..(Surely) I am still confident of a good account of ourselves.

Being over critical v Villa......when we went 2-1 up they were on the ropes and wobbling and a better team would have gone for the third and finished them but I do understand

Agree with that. I really didn't notice much time wasting from us until the normal stuff at the end when playing to keep a result, holding at the corner flags and being bit slow at dead balls. Every team does this, many far worse. It's a part of the game as the rules are now, and yesterday Villa and us got 14 minutes extra. So Villa have only themselves to blame for not doing better with their £85 million squad, and for leaving a boot in our Keepers face which a decent Ref with eye sight or visual aids would have reduced them to 10 men for.

    Ah!

    All true in my case.

As I used to say to the soon-to-be ex-Mrs Uber, “it’s mine and I’ll wash it as fast as I like!”

We are too critical of our so called timewasting yesterday...Every team does that sometimes. Yes we werent too active after their second goal and we also take our time with goalkicks and throw-ins, but villa was pressing quite hard after their equaliser so we have to hold on what we got.
Attacking full force to get a winning goal would have been gamble because villa with their quick substitutes were dangerous in counter attacks. Abraham was bit too much for BFG yesterday and maybe schteve was thinkin that and order to slow a bit and attack carefully and when it was safe to do it. Sometimes you have to do it like that if you like to get points.

Timewasting is a problem and and you see it time to time. In WC you noticed how croatia, mandukiewiz especially ,
did that on overtime. Mandukiewiz was lying big part of the OT and just when he realised he had a scoring chance he run like a lighting to score a winner for them. After that he contiuned to lying on the pitch until he was substitued and he walked about minute off the pitch. Well, that i call timewasting.

Time wasting can only happen when the ball is out of play.

Keeping the ball in the corner area, standing still with the ball, playing fifty square two yard passes etc would not stop the clock. However, the first two will result in the referee inventing a reason to give a free kick against you!

I would argue that at the end of the first half when Lumley just stood with the ball at his feet, that it was Villa that wasted time by refusing to move closer to him! One minute left, why take a chance by just kicking the ball long where anyone can gain pocession? I was very pleased with Joe for his judgement at that time.

TBH what do we care now. 2-2 and really had good chances to win it.
Villa fans are sad bitter yesterday men. They talk funny and lower than us in the table. More interested in Sheff Utd game.

Big rumour spreading that Scum have sold Tammy Abrahams to Wolves. Just when you thought Villa fans had whined enough.

I have to say it all got nasty after Kodjia caught Lumley in the face. It looked at the time as though the foot was left in and it certainly didn't look accidental. It took the ref a long time to book him too, and I think he only booked him as a result of the linesman.
The famous Holte end were baying to get on with play, even though they were having problems stopping the bleeding. Several times the villa players tried to pull him to his feet and there were mini scuffles over that. It was really nasty the reaction of the crowd, shouting to get him off after he had been kicked in the head by one of their own players. Anythinhg Lumley did in time wasting after that is completely understandable in my book. I am surprised that we haven't been told he has concussion. He will not play on Sunday, that I am certain (yes I know he wouldnt have anyway, but still!).
Towards the end there was an element of both teams being out on their feet, and after Freeman sent Eze through at about 100 minutes, Villa also decided that a point was enough.

Finally I was shocked how nasty Villa were, especially when things were not going their way. I was surprised how quiet the stadium was on the whole (except for the 1000 Rs fans). At Loftus Road we make twice the noise with less than half the fans
I was also shocked how vicious the comments about us were on the way to that station afterwards....but how vicious the comments were about their players too (except for the god Tammy Abraham).
I enjoyed yesterday a lot...and I learnt a whole new songbook of chants too

They’ll have to play one of their three £12m+ strikers now, the poor ****s.
