6 - 12 months ago I attemped to register with PASOTI, no luck, months later I email them asking what the problem was and had a reply asking me to re-register which i did - nothing.

    Today completely out-of-the-blue I get 2 emails telling me I'm now registered - I give up <doh>

If there's one thing that pisses me off it's bloody incompitance!
    Rant over!

That would be your feminine side coming out then Mrs Reid. My Mrs won't queue for more than 2 minutes anywhere without tutting and shuffling about. After 5 minutes it is more vocal than just tutting. Me, if I want something am prepared to stand there as long as it takes. If I put a spoon in the fork section of the drawer and she finds it then I am the most unorganised person in the universe and most typically just a man. If she puts one there by mistake and I notice I just move it one section if and only if I can be arsed to. It is clear that the organisers of PASOTI are male. Therefore there is the excuse straight away. In the words of my Mrs, well what else would you expect.

Mrs Reid,I decided to register a couple of weeks back, I did the required form filling on their web-site.

My application seemed to be accepted........and they said in due course my account would be activated and they would notify me.

Nothing seemed to happen........as I was brousing through there threads a day or two later, I noticed at the bottom of the page all those that were on line (didn't quite need a magnifying glass) at present, amongst the names was my name.

So I added a comment to one of the threads.....and low and behold my comment was accepted........I was in.

Yesterday I received an e-mail from them saying I will soon be on line !!! ......possibly ten days after I found I was able to use it anyrate.

Very interesting I thought seeing I already had commented at least ten times by then.

So they do look a bit shoddy with their web-site housekeeping,

There are a few important and interesting people who are in the Fans Trust that give you some good info.......thats why I decided to join.

I don't think it is very well designed web-site, and it's easy to miss something good hiding amongst the 75%/80% of total bilge and stupid comments that are on there.

Not a nice orderly site like you run Mrs Reid.

My other half always says "we dont have any more" of whatever he is looking for to which I reply "yes we do" which leads to "no we dont" anyway I'm sure you know the scenario sensible. I then have to stop whatever it is I am doing, go into the kitchen and move a bottle in front of said item. My dad does the same and as far as I'm aware do all the men in he family. I have come to the conclusion that if it isn't poking a man in the eye then "we don't have it". Why don't men ever look behind anything???

I'm sure that Mrs sensible and myself could swap stories...

LOL I've just realised that I sound really anti men here sometimes so I will explain.

I get on with men better than women because with men what you see is what you get - no hidden agenda and nothing going on benieth the surface (don't be rude Joe!) I have some great coversations with men and also I prefer to have a man as my boss at work so I'm far from anti men it's just that they can be SO BLOODY ANNOYING at times lol

Have you ever sought help for this condition Mrs Reid? I can categorically state that some men are more devious backstabbing and two faced than any woman could ever dream of being. It is of course only when in touch with their feminine side.

Women are far worse sensible, as for women bosses!!! Some could make Hitler look like a pussycat. Maybe men just backstab other men and likewise women.

I truely don't think it is a gender thing Mrs Reid. There are simply b**tards out there of every shape, size and sex. I have had both genders as a boss before now. Males who have to show their antlers and clash to prove they are big or give favour to females in a preditory sense. Females who have to prove they have bigger balls metaphorically than any male in their Department and cut out all other females in the herd to be the "only one". It really isn't a male thing or female thing as both do it. Now run along and finish the dishes there's a good girl.

I enjoy reading it to gauge opinions and receive news, but don't often post. Everyone on there knows each other in the "real" world, and as a result I usually find it's luke walking into a group of people you don't know in a pub and starting a conversation. Much more friendly here!

On a side note I registered on the Albion site, in light of fans reunited, and was accepted and able to post within 5 mins.

:emoticon-0119-puke:Peter Reid said he asked Bredan Gulible last Thurs on the phone "what has happened to the season ticket money" (to perhaps pay the staff) Gulible apparently said he would look into it!.That level of incompetence is pure class even for a complete twat like he obviously is.

I have read in a number of places that the season ticket money is secure. It is apparently to be released in chunks of 1/23rd per home match which seems a reasonable way to dispurse the money rather than just handing it over to somebody in one chunk. I have not read that it is in the pocket of the Administrators but who exactly is overseeing it is not clear. Once a purchase process is over then I assume the whole of the residue will be handed over to the incoming set-up.

I agree with a comment above reference PASOTI. I look at it but have never signed up. It does seem that contributors all know each other outside of the site and I think it is a sort of friends united rather than a discussion board that disagrees generally. There is some decention in the ranks at times but most threads jog along in harmony with a host of funny comments supporting or rather not arguing what somebody puts on there. I personally prefer the anonymity of these boards. With the greatest respect to other posters I don't want to pop round their house or meet up for a beer. I want to contribute with my own take on things however controversial others may think they are or even wrong in places. It is easier to disagree with somebodies point without knowing them personally and running the risk of a friendship being disrupted. I also think that discussion on here is better by it being diverse and mostly is conducted in a friendly manner even if there is a disagreement.
