Liverpool ready to make January move for Bristol City star - reports https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...s/lloyd-kelly-liverpool-transfer-news-2376078
Is he really ready to compete at that level or would he become just another good player lost in the mix? Has any figure been mentioned and possible add-ons?

BBC ~ January transfer window: Who could be on the move? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46609957
What a dream move for this young man (if true) will have to wait a long time to break through but has all the attributes to be a star, and what a club to sign for, wish this young man all the best if it happens, think he may be loaned to us for the rest of the season.
LJ interest builds ~ https://www.teamtalk.com/news/brist...nsfer-scramble-for-liverpool-defensive-target http://www.insidefutbol.com/2019/01...message-on-spurs-and-liverpool-target/404053/
I can see LK going to Liverpool but loaned back for the season with someone like Solanke (he’s probably Palace bound) also being loaned to us. Just hopefully not on the same terms as Ryan Kent last season.
Kelly might just be the best prospect we've produced so in that respect it'd be a real shame to see him move on so soon, but you couldn't begrudge him if a real mega club came along for him.
What do people think about us signing a striker? I saw us linked with Josh Maja a while back which is interesting, but would we just be blocking the route for Moira Eisa, Hinds etc?
We need a goalscorer that can go straight in and score goals. Elsa seems a natural and I would love to see him given a go,however LJ don’t seem to play him.Give him a go or give Taylor a run now he is back from injury.
We probably haven't seen enough of Eisa to make a strong judgement yet, but it would be nice if he could find some minutes for us to get an idea. In current form, Diedhiou has a starting spot all but sewn up, but if he's unavailable for any length of time we need to know that we're not going to be toothless & throwing him or Taylor straight in may be asking too much. It might be an idea to ask about whether it's at all possible to get Jermaine Defoe in on loan - he's not getting much game time & may want game time. He'd likely cost a bit in wages, but as a short term option he might be the calibre of goalscorer to make a difference. If possible though, likely to be a lot of suitors.
The transfer target that Bristol City are now able to offer a contract to He has long been linked with a move to Ashton Gate https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/transfer-target-bristol-city-now-2381079
Not the highest of priorities, but doesn't mean we don't have other irons in the fire also. Can't say I know much about him to judge.
