I used to do a lot of affiliate marketing style websites around 2006 and I got fed up trying to think of a username so I used the first two letters from my first middle and last name as it was easier to remember and I never got asked to pick a new one as it was already taken. What a way to start the New Year, fantastic day for City supporters and atmosphere, talk about a game of two halves. Up to 60 mins thought we looked leggy and lethargic, then a 20 mins goal fest when we couldn't stop scoring. I thought Evandro looked pure class, and Stewart was superb throughout, chasing, linking up and getting stuck in. It was good to see Adkins encouraging the crowd to acknowledge Stewart when he went off. You could see what Martin's goal meant to him and the team got around him, bouncing him up and down. What Adkins has done with what seemed to be a bunch of "no hopers" at start of the season is miraculous. One query, what was the 1 minute extra time about? 5 goals and 5 subs in 2nd half, just putting them out of their misery? I thought there was a set time allowed per goal/sub? In other squeaky bum games, when we've wanted the ref to blow, we end up with 5 mins or more!
Worth noting the reaction to Martin’s goal. The players looked so happy for him (Henderson screaming in his face!) and he gave him a new burst of life as he burst back into the box moments later to hit the bar. Hopefully a bit of confidence for him now.

You can say this every season , but I just keep thinking if we had turned a couple of early season defeats into draws , we would be right in the mix . Funny to now be checking Derbys score instead of Reading ... the build up play for martins goal today was pure filth. FA cup coming at terrible time for us and halting league momentum, I wish we were playing Sheff Weds this weekend
Confidence? I’m sorry but I think Colin’s Alcide on a mobility scooter would have got to that ball quicker than Martin! Was an absolute sitter! I hope Campbell is fit soon!
