Which is say means he is but for a high price, pretty much everytime a club says that, the player goes unfortunately
If bids £15m+ start coming in, they’ll start talking. Even if we think he’s worth more which he probably is. Ehab will then probably sell him for £6m with a player coming the other way like Kingsley did for Clucas and Stewart did for Robertson.
6-0 and could have been more. The silence of the trotters. What a ding do do for the Thora Hird brigade from Lankyshire!
Unless, looking on the very bright side of life, that the price agreed was on the understanding that the incoming owners had controlled over transfers... and they have said he isn't for sale... My glasses are very rose tinted today...
I dream of an age in which the East Riding is a Fascist State, with dominion over the other Ridings (and indeed the myriad races of men). Rule, Eastridingia!
I'm from Northampton so it goes right over my head mate, I did travel to Hull once to pick up a Juke Box, the guy was a friendly enough bloke him and his two mates that helped lift it were bouncer material so I avoided the subject of football
If I was a potential buyer, knowing now that we are likely to be still in the championship, I'd wait till summer when the price comes down some more. Or do you go for it now and hope for playoff final victory? Not that anyone is buying anyway.
My older cousin got me into it 45 years or so ago, went to a few games and got hooked. Strange as Cricket and Rugby I follow Northampton, just the football I don't and never have although I watch local results. Northampton lose I forget within minutes, Leeds lose I wake up the next day and it feels ruined before it starts. The last 15 years there have been a lot of ruined tomorrows
We're still in the bottom half but as you say 3 points off the position immediately below the playoffs. Once we start chipping away at the six teams above us within that 3 point range, it should start to really motivate the players and fans.
I just find it outstanding Nigel talked to the owners before the transfer window. And are going to talk to him tomorrow. In what mental world does a chairmen speak to his manager 3 or 4 times in a transfer window. Mental. Anyway, what a win, all very surreal.
