This guy is top drawer one of the best in the championship,cracking bit of business and we go one up with Fammy doing the business.
Agreed that Maenpaa has been impressive - we may not ever see Fielding play for us again... Nice goal taken too - we have good wide players able to cross the ball in so if Fammy can improve the consistency of his headers he should be able to score loads that way.
2-0 and that's got to be it. It may sound obvious, but us scoring first was just what we needed - a toxic atmosphere for the home team played right into our hands. Though fans shouldn't be held accountable for failure on the pitch, they perhaps don't appreciate how much more difficult they make it when they are like that. They were a 12th man for us. Gary Rowett's stock has really gone down since Birmingham, having failed with Derby & now struggling at Stoke. A good thing that we didn't make a knee-jerk reaction to try and get him in at any point - I wonder who would have thought that was a good idea(!).
Wow what a result amazing. The last six games never in a million years expected those results. Credit where credit is due LJ and his team have turned it around. This is the type of form we require for the rest of the season,then let’s see where it takes us. SL get those two signings in and the playoffs will be a strong possibility.

I am late in seeing the score and just felt it in my bones that we would win - and how! Well done City and let's keep it going well in to the second half of the season.

To be completely honest I thought Stoke were going to beat us today, what a suprise, a great effort, I really do congratulate all of the team, a great result, well done everybody.
well that was worth the wait ... just seen the result at 2109 ... was switching off the radio when it was " a penalty" heard the save and that was it ............... 0-2 superb result ................ ROCKIN ROBINs ...........
On a slightly different note, I watched the highlights on Quest last night and was somewhat angry about the coverage and comments we received from the hosts. I remember I watched the same programme a couple of years ago and City's game wasn't even shown and last night the coverage of the game lasted a very short time and they only mentioned City in passing. All the other games got a whole lot more time than us and I felt we were almost dismissed as a nothing team going nowhere - so why bother. Do the television networks give us a wide berth because we are not one of the favoured teams with some glamour?
