I was a bit late to the Swansea game and the normal car park I use was shut, so I just dumped the car outside, nothing happened. Though I know from my time with the SAG, that they randomly pick games to have a parking purge and they issued up to fifty tickets in a day/night.
What planet are you on , playing in that game at right back is our future manager . 10 years later and he was coaching , probably at Bolton with big Sam .
Ha could you ever imagine the modern young fan doing that filey . Head down looking at mobile phone it would take about two weeks to get there
Cheeky bastards the Allams.. Should be Free for your lad Hopefully if/when City get new owners it will be free at that age. It's was the final straw for me... Future supporters priced out Would cost you just £10 at Scarborough for you and your lad...and you could stand were you want.
I looked at the date on the 1976/1977 one and thought it was referring to that one. In mitigation, I had been on the pop. Hadn't had a drink for ages and was knocking back Pussers 56% rum, beers and a few G and Ts.
Have a great time Mr Pierred and Son That's how many of us got hooked....going with our dads I was 8 first time
My husband tells me he went to that match in his dad's car. Played Rotherham and won and then drew the return match at Rotherham the following day . It was a ding dong struggle with Rotherham that season to win the single promotion spot and Hull City triumphed. He also has seen somewhere that in one report of that Xmas Day match the attendance was given as around 54,650 which may have been the number of tickets sold.
Bastard!! gave my chauffeur the day off tomorrow, have to be the bus from kingswood, ****, no buses, **** it I'll have a beverley road pub crawl from 11, should get there by 3, won't forget the chippy on londesborough street on the walk down to the ground and a last pint in the Clarendon....3 points... perfect day!!!!!
For me, it was going with my school mates at 3 quid a pop in the 90s, there is simply no way on earth if I was 14 now that me and my mates could feasibly attend city matches as a group
My lad wants to go today. But I can’t get a seat next to my seat (usually there’s one available and everyone shuffles up) Can I buy a ticket in another part of the ground and use my pass as a transfer? He’s only 8 so I need to sit next to him. Can’t find an answer on the website or get through on the phone. Cheers
South Stand DBT there’s no free seats together. I was just going to buy 2, but given I begrudge buying a child ticket at full price 2 at full price is not ideal.
Ah ok If you’d have been in North we could have shuffled up and squeezed you both in near us Personally I’d just buy one then look for two together when you get there, or just hope someone near you hasn’t come and squeeze in there If you can’t then get the steward to march you both round the side of the pitch to North. You’re lad will love the ‘nah nah nah nah he’s from Hull and he’s from Hull’ chants!
A63 entry eastbound at South Cave is shut as well. Not sure on the rest of the A63? It will make getting to the match interesting!
