oh there was a definite pull back but the exagerrated fall just gave ammo to the critics. PS Maddison at Leicester really tries it on a lot !!
Good young player apparently, I haven't seen much of him but I have heard he's building a reputation I think we were rumoured to be interested a year or two back
It is easier to say that a player has dived, sometime players try their best to stay on their feet but cannot help it.There are some professional divers in football .Every player at one time is guiltty of diving.
One of the most recognisable traits of a dive the "Archer's bow" pose, where the head is tilted back, chest thrust forward, arms raised and both legs bent at the knee to lift both feet off the ground to the rear, is recognised as a characteristic sign of simulation, as the action is counter to normal reflex mechanisms to protect the body in a fall Recognise it at all?
Anyone at any team Jose has ever coached. First thing he always teaches is to dive. Happened at Chelsea both times, Man Utd, Real, etc. Wherever he lands next the players will start falling.
Funny enough Lawro has gone for 1:1 draw in this game sitting on the fence as usual. Paul Merson has been radical, he has gone for City 1;3 Liverpool my prediction also.
You need to stop being naive mate. In a perfect world, we would love to win by playing beautiful football, no cheating, dark arts, everyone respects one another. Unfortunately we don’t live in such a world. We need to gain any advantage possible. I want to win at any cost. I know you would prefer choirboys like Milner but players like Suarez are the ones who make the difference.
not when they're banned they don't Oh "choirboys like Milner" give over Jim he is one of our most cynical players iro of fouling to stop an attack .
I loved Suarez and I'd still have him back but encouraging players to surround the ref is just **** mate. The FA should punishing every single player that does it. Same for diving, feigning injury or waving am imaginary card. It's called respecting the referee; if everyone did it the game would be a lot bloody better and enjoyable to watch. There are plenty of other sports that have these principals in place. Some of those sorts are a lot more physical and aggressive than football too!
I actually agree - but until football authorities clamp down on it, I want us to embrace the dark arts.
Thing about Suarez is that he had the ability and didn't need to cheat. His work ethic and tenacity is like nothing else I've seen, on top of being a quality player. Best player to play in the shirt imo (recent times)
There was a game last year - can't remember which - when even I'd have sent him off. He took about three players out in the space of fifteen minutes or so, the ref gave him his final warning and he just ran off and clattered another. Only got a yellow.
