Good Morning Everyone It looks likely that Conor Shaughnessy is going to spend the second half of the season on loan at Hearts. The 6' 4 central defender was in Edinburgh over the weekend being shown around ahead Edinborough. He was also at the derby game at Easter Road. Top-flight Scottish manager Craig Levein wants more cover in defence and Shaughnessy needs more game-time if he’s going to force himself into Marcelo Bielsa’s plans. With the amount of injuries Leeds have had, especially in defence, why would Bielsa let him go ? Two alternatives: i) Shaughnessy has not got a hope of game time in the first team ii) Leeds are bolstering their defence with a new signing(s) Adam Forshaw has laid into Sami Saiz's work ethic. Speaking to the press, he said “Everyone who’s in the squad now buys into what we’re doing and works really hard for the team and it’s not about any individuals. “I’ll be honest. He’s a good player, but we’re a team and we all work together and that’s that really. I don’t think we’ve missed him so far since he’s left.” Thoughts? Leeds and Brighton are battling it to sign Polish teenager Mateusz Bogusz, according to reports in Poland. The midfielder currently plays for Ruch Chorzow, and is out of contract at the end of the season. With regards to Shaughnessy, I guess that he has little chance of playing as both Halme and Gotts have been named as subs in recent games, thus at present that makes him 5th choice centre half, before even Cooper and Berardi return to the squad, thus his chances of game time with ourselves has to be limited. Whilst I think I've said quite enough about the Saiz situation when it all occurred, and whilst even I will admit that this is a total coincidence, we have conceded 25% of all our goals this season in the last 3 games, since Saiz left. ( please note that the insinuation that our defending has become poorer because Saiz has left is a tongue in cheek statement) Can't really make any comment about the Polish guy, other than he's 17 and played 32 games in the Polish 2nd and 3rd Division (presently playing in the 3rd tier), and is probably worth a look at

Happy New Year guys The Polish kid is wanted by overseas top flight clubs too so any kid Orta brings in means another cracker for the first team later. Our U23s are booming at long last and we can see the results and impact on the first team now. This is why Nessy is being sent out as he has no future any more at Leeds. He was named in the first team squad by Bielsa but has let himself down as he has gone backwards whilst quite a few more junior players have overtaken him. Mallik Wilks signing an extention at Donny means his career with us is over as his contract ends in the Summer and we have too many good strikers ahead of him at the club now Lewie Coyle also extending with Fleetwood so guess we wont ever see him at RB for us Normally when a player leaves a club all his ex teamates send him best wishes. Silence from Leeds players to Saiz so think that says a lot. Someone mentioned a story yesterday that it all kicked off when Saiz abused one of the kids in training and why he was allowed to leave in record time?

Mike there are 2 ways to look at the Bruce situation 1. If indeed theres new money going in maybe Bruce waiting for confirmation before signing but allowing his backroom staff to do the job on a seperate mini deal until finalised. 2. Bruce has just gone through the worst year of his life after his mum died and then quickly followed by his dad. He has 2 funerals to arrange and then Villa fans booing him and throwing cabbages at him. He promised his family he would take a break and booked a big holiday and said he wouldnt look for a job until he got bcak. Wendies found him but he is trying to honour his promise to his family?
