I guess in the past we've been spoiled for choice when it comes to Centre Backs. I almost went for Willie Young <laugh>

    Shame it's not true today!

Charlie is a Gooner though & though. Would of loved to have pick him but there are too many good forwards in front of him.

Semantics. The point I am making is I don't remember Jennings making these sort of howlers hence my argument that you can't put Seaman in front of Jennings. But you might argue Jennings didn't make the phenomenal saves that Seaman did - which I probably couldn't argue against.

Dude, Giggs smashed the ball over Seaman's had at the near post, rubbish goal keeping.

The 3 kick was from 35 yards .. I was there at Wembley and we all thought it was no threat then heard the scum cheering. Seaman's poor footwork meant he didn't get to it. It wasn't like Carlos' free kick in Le Tournoi with vicious bend, it was a standard free kick that Seaman should've saved.

Gascoigne's free kick is still considered one of the best ever seen at Wembey as for the Giggs goal the whole defence ****ed up so it's a bit harsh to blame Spunky.

It's also worth pointing out that Seaman played in an era where football was in the spotlight regards TV more than ever before & tended to play in higher profile games than Jennings & therefore his rare mistakes tended to stand out more.

Don't get me wrong Jennings was a great goalie but Seaman was by far the best goalie I've seen in an Arsenal shirt & will always be a Gooner legend <ok>

Also, no disrespect to Jennings, but the standard of strikers he was up against was no where near the calibre that faced Seaman.

Semantics? - 'Howlers' is a pretty unequivocal definition really, and one unfairly leveled in my opinion.

  20. Didn't realise we could get date-filled curry-flavoured tapas ......

Seeing this is in origin, a Spanish dish, then I would suggest that the curry flavour was perhaps a Moorish influence. ;)
