We are a fickle lot. We were all jubilant after 'uddersfield and now so down after loosing to WHU and City.

I thought we were poor against a quick and physical WHU team. How Carroll stayed on I don't know. We have also lost to a vastly superior City squad. Why we played such an inexperienced back four I don't know but it does enable him to see how the fringe players will do, and let's face it, we would probably loose with our best eleven on the pitch.

I am still confident that we will stay up.

 

I thought he handled it well for his first appearance, Left isolated 1on1 with sterlings pace.. He didn;t look totally out of place, was very pleased.

 

For me Mcarthy still in positive territory. Maybe should of saved the third, but pulled some other very good saves. I think we should show faith at this time. I thought Austin put in a shift today and thought he was showing good leader ship in trying to orchestrate the press in the first half. Long was disappointing. Lemina and JWP both failed to provide full backs cover when we played a flat back 4. When we went 5 at the back Ramsay looked happier. Sterling gave him a hard time but overall he did ok. Worth remembering that at one point, our back 5 included four players until recently associated with the u23 academy
