Ashley wants £300 million. The stadium to slowly decaying, the training ground is outdated and the playing squad isn't fit for purpose. That is going to take 500-600 million to fix at least. The fat **** is living in cloud cuckoo land.
It’s worth about £278m but unlike most clubs has no interest gathering debt. He’s just taken out a chunk so is probably happy with £280m which is what will be paid.
He paid 146 plus 100million 11 years ago when the club were European regulars full of decent players. It's worth 150 to 200
We are going to do a Leeds. Shame we don't have Bielsa. He can actually coach and man manage players.
T. The sooner folk accept oblivious the better. It will help when we implode. Well that... and extra porridge.
Under Ashley we are an over achieving Championship club. Fact. Nobody likes it but that’s who we are. Benitez gives us the false appearance of being bigger than that. If Ashley stays we might as well change the manager and get relegated.
If Ashley stays we will have no option but to change managers ................... Benitez will leave at the end of the season. It is Ashleys chronic under investment that sees in the position that we are. We have gone from knocking on the door of Europes elite to not being able to compete financially with Huddersfield. The guy is a leach that is sucking the life out of the club and the region, just so he can put a few more quid in his already bulging pockets ................... it is absolutely obscene that one man can have such an effect on so many peoples lives ..................and all because he has a few quid .............. but wants a few more. I would love to know what the REAL situation is with any prospective deals and where interested parties actually in relation to Ashleys valuation. Is he really holding the deal up because of a bit of free advertising? Is Kenyons bid really £100m short? Is Strawberry Place the sticking point? Has the Eggy Bread question caught Kenyon out? i'm not interested in Sun / Star / Mirror / Graves / Howey speculation, hard facts would be great.
I agree, it's very frustrating because most of football is so over-exposed yet on this we're almost completely in the dark. Facts are there's four interested parties, all of whom have the money, have signed NDA's and are negotiating the price/conducting due diligence.
