Daniel Amartey and Matty James are the only injuries. Jonny Evans missed the Cardiff game through illness but could return. Here is what I would go with

    Schmeichel

    Ricardo
    Morgan
    Maguire
    Chilwell

    Albrighton
    Mendy
    Choudhury
    Ndidi
    Maddison

    Vardy

Subs- Ward, Soyuncu, Fuchs, Iborra, Gray, Okazaki, Iheanacho

Agree entirely, unless there is another striker in the academy who we can throw onto the bench

There is no one. Havent had a decent striker coming through for sometime

Annoying thing is I rate Iheanacho and I think there really is a player there. Just he doesnt really fit into our team and looks scared when he gets on the pitch. He hid yesterday

Iheanacho is in the Silva category for me. There’s a player in there who will probably be a success elsewhere but it isn’t happening for him with. Doesn’t help when our so called ‘fans’ boo when he is coming on. Will do great for his confidence that.

I watched the game yesterday and he is lightening fast - had no real opportunity to show that in our previous games when playing as a #10 or being a holding player rather then the focus of the attack but there is something there if we are willing to give him time.

Judging by the boos when he came on, I'm guessing not.

Iheanacho is only 22 - kid needs time which our fickle fans aren't willing to give. You would have thought that we would have learnt from how we treated Vardy and nearly drove him to quit football altogether but obviously not.

Even this season Chilwell and Ricardo made a few mistakes early on and people were solely blaming them for losses and calling for them to be binned, but they given the backing of the manager, who himself was castigated for that, and are our best players this season.

I agree entirely and have said as much previously. The sense of entitlement many of our fans have got and the impatience to give anyone a chance is embarrassing. The likes of Iheanacho and Silva written off straight away, people shouting for Puel out before his appointment was even confirming, booing players coming on as sub. It’s shocking. Our so called fans are becoming a disease within the club!

If we had options up front I think the best thing we could do is loan Iheanacho out to the championship. Score some goals, get his confidence back and go again

Ive never booed any of our players and never will. He is a young lad that we have spent big on and as much as he frustates me I see alot of ability there

Best comparison we have had in recent times is Andrej Kramaric

I wasn’t suggesting yourself or anyone on here do tbh as we seem to be reasonably level headed on here (ok we don’t agree on the Puel situation but it’s all good debate and opinions). However the crap spouted on Foxestalk and the state of sections of the crowd at the KP is a ****ing disgrace. The ****e from these people winds me up much more than any player or Puel could.
How much would Kramaric suit us now btw

Kramaric would suit us down to the ground now. Shame we dont have a buy back like Man City have with Iheanacho

I know you wasnt suggesting me. As ive said before we all want the same things. Just got different views on players and managers etc. Bit boring if we all had the same views

I can't agree with that entirely, its the fact hes being asked to do Vardys role after playing very differently at Man City, we could have Aguero up front and he'd be boo'd off as well. He needs help, everyone but Puel can see that.

I agree with that - our fans are so fickle they would boo off arguably the best striker in the Premier League if he was playing for us.

Facts are that Vardy can't play each game - man was buggered vs Cardiff and spent more time hopping around holding his leg then running around - but aren't willing to give anyone else a chance to replace him.

As for help, hopefully Puel will work the same magic on Iheanacho that he did with Chilwell and Ricardo when they were being castigated earlier in the season - kid is only 22 so we haven't seen the best of him yet.

As for the team for the game, 433 again same team is Chelsea and Man City fitness and injury depending.
Hopefully we will be better again without 20000 ish morons turning up at the ground with the sole intention of slating everyone and everything and creating a negative vibe around the place.

The problem with Ihenacho is he just doesn’t look like he tries. No one expects him to run around like Vardy (or shouldn’t expect, anyway) but he doesn’t do a thing far far too often. It’s not like he’s not scoring, it’s more that he isn’t doing anything at all.

Confidence is a funny thing and a lack of it won’t just affect his composure when through on goal but his whole game. He has the capability (when he forced the mistake from Allison at home to Liverpool). To me is seems like the guys confidence is shot from not just a lack of support but outright negative treatment from the crowd. I think it’ll take me a while to forget just how moronic those who booed him coming on on Saturday were! Sorry for being boring in advance!
