Im still waiting for harrison to continue his runs he beats two and stops. Then we get back to tippy tappy passing but not enough making runs. Some of our shooting was pathetic no force to it. Shackleton looks like he just back from doing his homework.
Pontus is the tallest we have got again we had no chance winning headers in the box. Get some muscle in or second half of season we wont make autos. Six goals let in says it all.

Oi Aussie! Feck all lucky about us beating Leicester at their gaff yesterday pal - that was a good controlled performance against quality side.

Tactically spot on and executed with determination and not a little skill by a very "together" squad - something we're never given credit for.

Take your point about odd results happening in football generally though, but they very often result from planning just as much as "luck". <ok>

I’m guessing @BillysStatue found Noel Whelan then ;)

Reading Whelans after match comments no slating the players this time, he just described it as a blip.

Of course luck can play a part in games, but just pointing out it didn't yesterday at the King Power.

Not getting sensitive pal, just putting you straight on something about which you probably only saw the result and not the game. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Forget the "Match of the Day" pundit twats - they're biased towards the elite clubs and besides that, being hosted by "Leicester Lineker".

With the crosses, is it because we lack height that we don't put the ball deeper in?

Interesting take on Douglas there Jock. What do you think Wolves were getting him to do last year that we're not? Particularly if who the winger ahead of him is doesnt matter, it must be a function of the role he's been given/settling into a new club/the water in Leeds?

We really need to be getting the best out of him, and like you I've been a little underwhelmed so far.

This was a difficult result for me to prefer being essentially a neutral. Being a regular annoyer on this forum for a couple of seasons now has somehow endeared this mob to me. Don't know quite why because they can be quite abusive, but then again we are the same towards sheep so so what.

Having lived in Beverley and worked in Hull for over two years in the mid 80's, I made lots of mates up there and was a regular at Boothferry Park. Subsequent to say that historically I have a greater affinity toward Hull than this rabid lot though that has somewhat dimmed with the passing years to the extent that I now quite like Leeds.

I now tend to be far more circumspect about it all.....................WELL DONE 'ULL............:1980_boogie_down::1980_boogie_down:<diva><diva>

I don’t think Douglas is a bad player, agreed not as good as I had hope to see but when you take a lot of free kicks and corners and you score from them your assists go through the roof. He shares responsibility with Pablo so assists will naturally be lower. I think with Cooper back and a pairing of Pontus and Cooper Phillips in front Douglas will have more freedom to get forward. We’re more 4-5-1 at the moment I prefer 4-1-3-1 with the wing backs creating the 5 in midfield.

Yes last minute winners recently but we’re definitely lacking with Forshaw and Klich together and Alioski and Harrison out wide.
