Depends who you ask. I believe Liverpool are particularly fond of us this week We just like to help charity cases. Palace had a stat about not winning without Zaha, not sure if it was just this season or longer than that so of course we go down 1-0 to them. Cardiff hadn’t won away so we got down 1-0 to them. Burnley at home we had about 25 shots, hit the wood work about 4 times but didn’t have the heart to beat them! It’s frustrating when we then pull off back to back wins over Chelsea and Man City but we are still in a better position as a club than the last two managers had us. You’ll get your 3 points from the KP soon enough
Hopefully mate Reckon Puel gone at seasons end? Shame really as I think he's a good coach but plenty don't give him the time of the day because he's a bit dull.
I’ve got faith in him. My primary criteria for a manager isn’t how fun he is in press conferences which seems to be why a lot of our ‘fans’ have never given him a chance. I like what he’s doing with young players and trying to change our style. Our owners aren’t as trigger happy as the media like to make out either, as long as they can see what he’s doing and believe in the plan he’ll be ok as long as we are comfortable and not in danger of going down. Let’s be honest if we sacked him now (something many of our ‘fans’ are screaming for) we’d be a laughing stock
I don't think you will sack him now but wouldn't surprise me if there was a 'mutual agreement' at the end of the season.
Possibly, depends who the replacement would be which is the crucial bit none of the Puel out crew seem to be able to answer. Pep’s Man City were a shambles at times early in his reign and Liverpool under Klopp were mocked for celebrating a Home draw to West Brom in front of the Kop but it’s amazing what a manager with a plan does when given time, patience and more than 1 transfer window! Also just watching MOTD, why did I bin Firmino for Vardy in my FF team!!
Doubt your manager does either if that's the general consensus. He'll be welcome at our place, where we do like to challenge for stuff.
I’d love to see us make a serious challenge, but the squad needs some serious work for that to happen. Whether Levy and co are prepared to finance that is the big question. Poch? My feeling is he’ll stay for next season at least. After that, if he doesn’t get the backing again, he could decide he’s gone as far as he can with the setup he’s got. Apparently, the club are more worried about Real than Utd taking hm.
Well they never have before but now have the stadium hanging around their necks my guess is they will be out kissing frogs in the summer hoping for a prince to appear.
I think Lewis will sell the club once the stadium is up and running as a profitable commercial enterprise and they’ve milked the property side of the development.
Seems like the logical conclusion. Then if they get some rich Arab they'll suddenly all have to change tune
Looks like he will have the choice of both. United clearly already sounding out alternatives in Allegri and then there is still the (slight) possibility that Solskjaer turns out to be just the man. But, if Spurs don't even see themselves as credible challengers for anything why would he? Would be the perfect time to move on to United. Clear for everyone (bar HIAG and Spurlock) to see.
Again , this is wishful thinking on your part. Poch has always seen Spurs as a long term project, one that is only partly accomplished. Everything that Poch has ever uttered on the subject has demonstrated that he's in this for the long haul. If you could point to anything that Poch has said that even remotely suggests that he's interested in taking any other job, I'd give some credit to your assertions , but you cannot.
