Last couple games we've been a bit too open again at the back. Hope Gomez is back soon

We do miss Gomez's pace but I think Lovren as done okay.

Klopp said he expected a bit of a crazy game because of the way both teams press - was just a case of showing our superior quality today in all areas.

Would expect Wijmaldum, Henderson and Milner for the City game - Bit more rigid and stable with Shaqiris added quality on the bench if needed.

Just can't believe what I'm witnessing at the moment to be honest, just fantastic <cheers>

Both were credible pens. I was referring to astro’s theory that the referee gave us a soft pen in the previous match so that PGMOL then could refuse to give us a barn door one in today’s match. A convoluted conspiracy against LFC. Obviously they gave us the pens . It must have been to refuse clear cut pens in the City match. And many people actually believe his theory <laugh>

It's like buses; go eighteen months without a penalty and three come along at once!

no idea why people claiming the first one softhe knees him up th arse then for good measure leans on his other leg
On the second there is actually more of a shove on fab which no one seems to have noticed so agree that one was softish but it another where defender has made the ref make a decision
    Meh :)

    Nope
People were saying on the radio how just over a week ago this that and the other and City are now out of it yada yada yada
    Do we look good yes
    Are these wins impressive
    Yes
Are we in a good role yes
    Am I happy
    You ****ing bet
    But
There as many games (I think) in April as in Dec it has taken just over a week to turn this title race around
Why can it not happen again ?
Ffs we were a ridiculous amount of goals behind and now we are four ahead played one more

So can we just calm down and enjoy this ride without all the title talk

Ftr I am getting very excited just staying grounded because a fall from this will really hurt

17 games to go currently 15 (?) wins needed

Just another PGMOL #deflection since we'd already scored 3 goals in 18 minutes

You think we'd get those 2 pens if Arsenal were still 1-0 ahead to make it 2-1 to us?

Spurs insta-bottling their title challenge also forced PGMOL to put all their eggs in the City basket

It must be because the refs and PGMOL hate our guts and have a conspiracy to make sure we lose the title ;)

So the referees giving us 3 pens in 2 matches is because they strongly hate us and are organising a conspiracy against us? Blimey in your world I’d love to be hated..<laugh>

If I were you I would seriously consider looking for a therapist <laugh>

Giving decisions for us once the game is already won makes it easier to hide the decisions against us in games that are still in the balance

    Pretty basic match-fixing technique

In a rigged boxing match the other guy doesn't just stand there with his arms by the side making it obvious, you land a few decent hits first

And you really and seriously believe that referees are conspiring against us? Not just some outlandish theory to entertain ourselves with to pass the time?

AND in the meantime increasing our GD.

Why do you think we now get these softer penalties in games everyone knows we've won, but for the previous 14 months got absolutely nothing from PGMOL, including the most blatant handball ever seen in the game (because it was still 0-0 at the time).

The statistical evidence isn't even close. Denying referee bias against Liverpool is like denying climate change. Even with these recent penalties, no team in the world has a lower penalties to possession/shots/attacks ratio at home than Liverpool.

that picture doesn't show where ref was stood at the time,

yes we can all see from replays should have been given, but did the ref have a clear view of it? also where was the linesman? other side of the pitch?

Ref had ages to get into position but chose not too, was moving at walking pace. Lino was near side but somehow didn't see either.

We can all pick up stats that favour our argument. What do they say about lies and statistics? By definition you’ll have high, low and average rates of getting home penalties. Some team will be high and some low. We are lower than average. We can’t all be bang on average can we? So your argument then is Man U get no preferential treatment either way (I thought you’d said frequently that refs were licking their arses?) and West Ham are the refs darlings.
