No new injuries or suspensions meaning Daniel Amartey is the only player missing in our last game of 2018. So here is what I would play

    Schmeichel

    Simpson
    Morgan
    Maguire
    Chilwell

    Ricardo
    Choudhury
    Iborra
    Albrighton

    Maddison

    Vardy

Subs- Ward, Evans, Fuchs, Gray, Ndidi, Ghezzal, Iheanacho

Only change I might make it Maddison in the midfield three with Gray in his place in the front 3 as apparently Maddison played deeper at times for Norwich and it’d enable us to keep the same system but a bit more attacking.
Keep the back 4 the same, stability. I guess Nacho for Vardy if Vardy is struggling but hopefully not. 3 points is not a given in this game and it shouldn’t be treated with complacency.

Spot on. Not getting maximum points in this match will be wasting the previous 2 results.

Just hope that Claude doesn't get too carried away and make unnecessary changes.

I'd stick Gray in instead of Simpson but otherwise this would do for me.

Gives Mendy and Ndidi a well earned breather as well.

Maddison just won a soft penalty and just hit a weak one against the keeper just like against Man City - says it all about the game

We are getting into good places then being overwhelmed when it counts - we are playing like a team that is knackered.

Never ****ing learns. We all said and knew Mendy and Ndidi wouldnt work today. Needed Iborra

We play boring slow, predictable football again and it costs us.

Takes Vardy and Albrighton off FFS

Bloke has to go. Beyond clueless

Man City and Chelsea forced us to play on the counter and we hurt them. Today we needed to be more attacking and nope. Dishwater football from Claude yet again

Doesn’t have to go but the players have to move when we have the ball otherwise we can’t do anything!

He does. He picked the starting line up. He picked the tactics and he made them subs

0-0 at home to Cardiff and he subs Vardy off?
Then takes Albrighton off??? Wasnt he watching the game. Gray was beyond awful again

Gray frustrates me. Could be a great impact sub.

Please please oh please sign a winger in January.

I’m also starting to wonder if Ghezzal is worse than the love child of Gabor Bori and Zolt Lackzo

Had he left Vardy on then im sure the result would have been different

But penalty scored or missed. Today just wasnt good enough like most of Puel’s reign

You can’t leave a player on who isn’t fully fit and having no other impact on the game in case you win a penalty! We don’t have any players including Vardy who I truly feel confident taking them anyway.
The worst thing about our club right now is the fans

When we struggle for goals as a team and you need a goal you leave your biggest goal threat on the pitch

Vardy’s conversion rate from penalties is one of the best in the league

Do we have to second guess and make everything Puel’s fault? It’s easy this management lark in hindsight! There’s a reason none of us are football managers. Vardy is clearly struggling and has been dragged through the last two games. By leaving him on the more risk to his fitness and condition for the weeks ahead.
Our last two managers had us in the relegation zone, playing anti-football, holding the ball aimlessly, conceding bags of goals, scoring next to none.
Whether people accept it or not due to personal dislike for Puel, we are in a solid position right now going through transition. It won’t come together overnight as it didn’t for Pep at Man City (they were a total shambles gong 4-0 down to us) or klopp and Liverpool (celebrating draws at home to West Brom in front of the Kop). When you have a manager who wants to build something, it takes time to show. Nobody calling for his head seems to be thinking what to do next. Allardyce and his defensive hoofball with old players? Pardew and **** knows what he even does.
Personally I like having a young, mainly homegrown team and would rather not go back to the dark ages!

Vardy is struggling as he gets **** all service and support.

I said it last year. The quality of Vardy and Mahrez bailed us out alot going forward last year. We havent replaced Mahrez at all. Ghezzal is shocking and no where near Prem standard

Puel’s dishwater football, poor team selection, bad subs and crap tactics are costing us big time
