When was the last time we strung together 2 good halves - in the same game?

I think Rodgers was our manager when that happened Taff.

Not been keeping up with things but blimey, what's happened? Just got back today to read we're 13th in the league, QPR, Stoke, Bristol City are ahead of us and we go 2 down against Wigan. What's going on chaps?

Anyway, hope you are all well <smooch> had a great Christmas <cracker> and, like me, are looking forward to toasting in the new year <ale><bubbly> :emoticon-0167-beer:ready to start 2019 with good intentions <peacedove> :emoticon-0157-sun: and massive hangovers :emoticon-0119-puke: :emoticon-0162-coffe.
Hope its better than 2018 :headbang:

Had my first trip to the Liberty this season today. At half-time I wished I hadn't bothered.

At least the second half was more spirited and we deserved a point in the end. <ok>

Potter still doesn't know his best team, or formation, terrible lineup to start this game, Potter needs to sort his head out, so many games thrown away these last 6 weeks...........<ok>

A lot of red cards in the Championship today..

Playing a winger at RB and a Centre half as a LB?...............<laugh>

Potters lineup and strategy, matched Jenkins program notes, both living on another planet, what a mess today was, summed up this year completely, and Jenkins you can shove your notes right up your fat arse...............<ok>

Dai wasn't the only one, although he was/still is, totally obsessed by Laudrup, so much so that I think his hatred of the man is of a non footballing nature.
I well remember the anti Laudrup brigade who wanted Monk to take his place. They still post here.
I referred to them as ' the monkees '. They were not amused. Eventually, and inevitably, they all turned on Monk.
It's only a matter of time before they go for Potter. In fact, I am surprised at their silence.

Often the case at this time of year. Too much of something, that's for sure.

Is it conceivable that Potter is out of his depth in The Championship, or is it still too early to make such an assessment ?

It could be that this year is a ‘free pass’ for him, do all his tinkering and experimenting to find out who can play where, in what system etc etc.....

Otherwise, as Private Fraser would say ‘We’re doomed’ <laugh>

Maybe or he's got over confident? He did have a good start to the season, given the patchwork squad he inherited, still was a crazy line up today that many Jacks found baffling before kick off, at least he admitted it was his mistake today post game interview.................<ok>

"I take full responsibility for the first half, we weren't able to be ourselves and it was an uncomfortable 45 minutes," Potter explained. "We had an idea but clearly it didn't work, or I wasn't able to explain the idea well enough. I am disappointed with myself and apologise to the players and to the supporters for the first half."

Potter has a good relationship with the majority of our fans as they understand the position he is in. However he has been criticised for making too many team changes and today everyone could see that he had gone way too far.

Most of the teams in the Championship are well drilled, hardened professionals. Despite their poor away record, Wigan are no different and can boast a 3-0 win at Stoke this season.

They could easily have been 3-0 up by half time, missing one glaring opportunity, but they also chose to time waste from as early as the 30th minute, something that backfired on them as they could have pushed for more goals while we were in disarray.

"Potter, Potter, sort it out" rang from the East Stand, the first sign of open fan discontent with his tactics this season. Thankfully he did sort it out, but he had to use two substitutions to do so.

January is likely to be a month of significant change in terms of players moving in and/or out, so we may not see a fully settled team until mid-February at the earliest. Prepare for a bumpy ride <laugh>

Yesterday was not,IMO,the first time he has selected a "bizarre" team.

Sorry but I am beginning to have my doubts.

    Or

Maybe he can see a storm on the horizon and instead of staring it down he's preparing for impact?

Ready or not, it's hitting the beach Tuesday so batten down the hatches folks and pray it wont be as devastating as our fears suggest.
