We don't get fouls or Pens these days. Pukki got kicked in the back while he was on the ground. Ref saw it. Spoke to him. Not even a yellow. Let alone a red
It was a massive kick in the balls but we end 2018 2nd from top 3 points behind with a team of kids and German rejects . Leeds choked again and we do it all again on New Year's day at Brentford. I'm watching Liverpool Arsenal now to cheer me up
When Rhodes came on I was going to post something about the bet and the ****er it the underside of the crossbar last kick of the game .
Anyone going to the Grant Holt wresting match at Carrow road? This season may be one massive LSD flashback https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2018/december/grant-holt-wrestling-carrow-road/
Quote of the week from DF - "We are unbelievably disappointed," Farke added. "The football we played in the first 30 minutes was some of the best I've seen here. But we didn't protect our goal too well in the first half." #aintthatthetruth
With all these goals raining in is it time to get Hanley back in the side? 2 reasons. First he might help us improve back there, secondly to keep omitting him when we are clearly struggling at the back could have a damaging effect on squad team spirit. If I'm Hanley out side of a winning team I can understand and bide my time. Watching the defensive horrors of the last couple of games and still be viewed as 4th choice I might start getting ansey Bah!
I’m not sure we were much better with Hanley at the back. Didn’t put unbeaten run start when he got injured? I think Buendia’s defensive capabilities were really missed today, he works really hard and protects Aarons!
True enough about Hanley, I was thinking it's actually more probably to do with the lack of continuity at the back recently, every game we seem to have to make a change or lose someone in the warm up. Bah!
I thought he acquitted himself very well and PD gave him quite a high rating - https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwi...ionship-defeat-against-derby-county-1-5834556 OK, so several players had a ‘bad day at the office’ yesterday, but they have the chance to put that right in 2 days’ time against Brentford. #wegoagain As Dave says elsewhere, the teams above and immediately below us didn't make the most of our defeat and the sooner we can get some of our injured players back the better.
Just thinking it might be a wise move to consider an astute classy defensive option be brought in on loan for the rest of the season. Can be cover or plug a gap but would give us the option!
If we were going to lose our 13 game unbeaten run then I'm glad it was in such a messed up game . We have the chance to start a new record from 2019 and it's now glaringly obvious we need a plan B that involves clearing routine set pieces and closing out from a winning position . I was really pissed off all day after the defeat but putting things back into perspective we are in a great position to go all the way this season. Bring on Brentford
