You’d play on in a bit of fog. Why would you stop on a perfectly well lit pitch?

Joint-worst home defensive record in the division. But in the auto spots at the turn of the year.

Arse, we need to defend a lot better against the top teams (And the rest) or we'll blow this. Hard to be too critical, brilliant season so far, so many injuries (sound like a Leeds fan there!) but we have to be better at home and I think a return to the basics and winning a couple of 1-0's would be good!

    Bah!

If the game continued. We wouldn't have lost that. We might have drawn, but the atmosphere, the buzz, the momentum was all with us.

Stopping the game killed all of that, and let Lampard give another massive team talk. Gutting.

This was, without doubt, pathetic defending. The poor defending that has been evident for several games could not be rescued this time by the attacking talent in the side. It was inevitable that one day the rescue act was not going to happen and today was the day. I am not sure if it’s individual players who are not defending well enough or the whole defence. NCFC are still second with Leeds losing and WBA drawing, but the defensive errors are mounting and if we want promotion then the defensive frailty needs to be sorted. This is my own view and I am entitled to express it on this forum.

Huge lift to both Leeds and WBA from that. we improve defensively we can forget about automatic promotion. Just wonder how this will affect the players now. Big response against Brentford needed.

Gutted, but we can't always rescue games at the death. We MUST learn to defend a lead

You're absolutely right CS2010 - if we keep conceding sloppy goals, wel'll be lucky to make the play-offs.
There was a foul on one of our players in the build-up to their equaliser, but we should still have cleared it. :steam:

We are still 2nd and this can't be classed as a routine game .

We are still unbeaten since October in games that don't get delayed by floodlights .

Plus Marriott may have got me a free beer from @JM Fan <cheers>
