Now that is the interesting factor in it all. But surely the staff that are still there will have had a word. The problem Cardiff have with Gerrard is a simple one. If they dont deal in January then Gerrard leaves for nowt next summer. I do feel that Cardiff will try offload him in Jan and get something back. Its OMO but it makes sence, doesn't it ? My point is, we could and should have scored first in every game we've played this season. If the strikers put them chances away we'd be up near the top. It isn't a dumb comment. Obviously when we go a goal down we need to get back into it, that doesn't mean we sacrifice all of our defensive responsibilities for it though. Fact is, we don't know how to chase games properly, didn't last season and still haven't learnt how to this season and we'll end up getting more of Leeds, Millwall, Doncaster etc if we don't learn how to keep it tight while needing to get back into the game. This is down to the midfield more than anything, defence is useless with no midfield. And yes, we can guarentee we'll score first if we actually put our chances away. We've been creating plenty just not scoring them.

Gerrard has started every league game for Cardiff so far this season, he's going nowhere. Bebe was our only centre back target that I was aware of, I assume we are looking for another on loan now. There must be some decent centre backs out there, maybe someone who's local, but currently resides in the North East, someone who's not getting games despite being very good? I can't think of anyone off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's someone out there.

Thanks, it was very nice in Skeggy, 34 degrees most of the time, only one days rain. Either mentioned CB would be fine by me, though unfortunately, I think one of them is a complete non-starter and my Derren Brown style mind transmissions to NP re the other seem to be going astray somewhere down the line.
