I don’t think we will, but I agree it would be crazy not to. This is THE chance to go up. You can’t havw a mind set that if it doesn’t happen this year it will next. No matter what financial state the club is in, It would be crazy not to find the investment and a look at the league table should make it pretty easy to get. Might simply come down to how greedy Radz is. I’m sure he could find external investment for players but it would cost him some shares and/or weaken the financial state of the club in the short term. But If you play the % to me it’s a case of seize the day. That’s all assuming bielsa wants them and the right player is available! A keeper of some sort is a must. No Saiz replacement is very high risk.
My only concern is getting the wrong player in terms of temperament and upsetting a very tight knit group of players whose togetherness I think has helped us to where we are. As someone said (and I don't know if this has changed since) but not one has wished Saiz well on his move (in fact didn't Pontus have a sly dig). Compare that with Berardi's reaction at our winner against Blackburn and the injured Tyler Roberts tweet 'Rooooofffy' followed by loads of yellow and blue hearts. I think Bilesa will want quality and some one that buys into the ethics of this team.
Exactly, and we can be sure that if Bielsa was given £10m to spend in January he'd rather not sign anyone and carry on with what he's got than sign a couple of £5m players just for the sake of it when those players may upset the spirit and togetherness of the group.
Agree, Bielsa has already said how supportive the senior players have been with the youngsters stepping up. Think that's what given them the chance to shine. Also why we need care around the handling of BPF. For the odd mistake, he may well have loyal mates in that dressing room (we are top!!) who could be upset if he suddenly dumped for a new boy walking through the door.
Just watched a vid on FB. Players all leaving TA in their fancy cars, Bielsa walking along the road to catch the bus. Now with some managers, I'd assume they were pissed. Bielsa? The humblest of humble. What a guy!
Wtf? There is no way Bielsa gets a bus home from training? The Scum will have him kidnapped and brainwashed, with help from the Accountants at the EFL.
