Any stats obsessives who can say when we last scored from a set-piece (other than a penalty)? We must be on for some sort of record for % of goals from open play.

I have notice that in the last few games we have even stopped trying, sometimes just putting the ball back into normal play!

This is a really significant weekend.

Every rival is either playing away or against each other.

8,000 of us could be going to Blackpool with the chance to go top.

I think an early goal tomorrow could see us batter them tbh, we all know we have it in us.

If Liverpool had ever been 20/1 I’d have had 5 grand in it.

Bookies up and down the country would be going bust.

The highest price on them at any point was 3/1 second favourites before a ball was kicked.

If Liverpool were 20/1 I wouldn't have £50 (never mind £5k) on them to win it, Nads, 'cos if they were 20/1 they wouldn't be as good as they are, and they'd have very little chance :undecided:

Tomorrow, however, I'd bet on a convincing win for The Lads, if I were a betting man, and I wouldn't be surprised if one of our players took home the match ball :emoticon-0105-wink:

Looks like we’re getting £3.5 million back for N’Schlong.

Better than a punch in the tits.

    Fund the promotion push?

Couple of very decent players if we are able to put even half of it towards players.

It will be great if we show more cohesiveness and clinical finishing to put Shrewsbury to the sword early doors, then go to Blackpool with a lot more confidence for a good win.

That will put us in a very strong position on NYD , wether we’re top or not, with 2 games in hand.

    Enjoy your birthday tomorrow Bri.

Read yesterday that sadly none of it will go into the transfer pot. No reason given...

Possibly money owed to Short? May have written a clause in that he gets proceeds from Djib and Ndong?

    Just guessing mind.

Donald came out couple month back and said that clause only applied to the summer window mate.

The money stays in the club, and that’s horses mouth talk.

    Unless that was about Djilifuckingwanker

The biggest Xmas present so far has been having Duncan Watmore back in the squad, a few more cameo's for him and Wyke, and that top spot will start to look a lot closer. This week could see our third shot at going top this season as has been said, the squad is getting stronger just look at the bench now, so maybe and it is a maybe, with Lady Luck in red and white (yes, I know we have had a bit already against Bradford <laugh> ) the coveted top spot will be ours. Onwards and Upwards.
