My reading of it was that it was not about political differences so much as the manner in which posters chose to reply to each other. We can all make mistakes, but it doesn't hurt to admit it when we do. It is even better to stop and consider what we have written before pressing the post button. There is a huge difference between putting forward a reasoned but controversial point of view, and just trying to wind others up on purpose.
There's been a few issues round our way in recent days so I guess they're wanting to show a presence. I'm not knocking them - it's not a job I could do.
In NZ there are a lot of complaints about people hiring cars here who are used to driving on the right. As a result there are too many fatal accidents at junctions on rural roads where the locals drive too fast and the foreign tourists look the wrong way when moving into another road. I wonder if something similar happened in this sad incident. Edit: Just seen the BBC news. I was wrong. It was a one lane bridge. Those cause trouble here, too. People take them too fast.
Yes I don't disagree.. Sadly the politics thread really had been a catalyst for such disagreements. I really think we need to be more assiduous in monitoring and arresting abisabd derogatory posts Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk

Good day all. Thanks for the good wishes. I am being treated well, with some more WFC collectables. A visit to the vet this afternoon as one of the dogs is going to travel back to the UK this weekend and has to be checked over. A Spanish vet, in a French clinic, with English customers. At least he speaks French.
Thanks to all that I have not yet thanked for your kind wishes. The duck with fresh cranberries was super, the bubbly washed it down a treat. The only complaint is that Mme included my age on the cake. Something I wish to forget.
