It is comedy gold indeed but tonight, instead of watching third division stuff, I've watched a top league series, on Netflix...series 4 of the stylish Peaky Blinders. How come you end up rooting for a bunch of psychos?
I'm on episode 2, at the point when they realise they can't sign anyone for ****. It's all the same, slo mo footage of goal flying in against them, and their fans whining.....who had the idea this would make good viewing? It makes Eastenders look positively uplifting.
Episode seven is exactly that, the Burton game where they get relegated is all their **** in ten minutes As for the arse hole mackem at the end of the episode who squares up to Chris Coleman outside the ground He must have thought he was outside McDonald's...
Watched the first episode thought the priest preying was amusing but after that I couldn't be arsed with it
I would have had a lot more sympathy if it hadn't have been for the six in a row and laughing at our two recent relegations The series itself was well filmed and presented.
Jack Rodwell taking the piss is one of the highlights. But that dole dweller offering Chris Coleman out in the penultimate episode is the creme de la creme.
