Ash is a wood you can cut in the morning and burn in the afternoon. Oak needs to be stored for two years. Pines and other similar woods are full of resin and will tar up your chimney quickly.
What a point Dave. Well done you Canaries. And what entertainment. If anything gets you to that pint at the Vic Dave it will be this point.
My conifer supply is now 3 years old and burns very well without too much tar, which is quite different when I tried when it had only been 6 month since being cut down. Interesting article on different wood. Burning Pine in an Indoor Wood Stove | Home Guides | SF Gate

Greetings all.. Anniversary day today so we are off to walk the York walls followed by Afternoon Tea at Betty's Have a good day

A Pity. He was a fellow streamer and good for some banter. If they are reading this perhaps they could kiss and make up and come back?
Just walked home from my mum's - two Police officers were stood on the corner of the street and I couldn't help over hearing the conversation. One of them had just swapped out Sergio Agueiro for Harry Kane apparently. Quite nice to realise they're human sometimes - and that they were not waiting for me
