Ash is a wood you can cut in the morning and burn in the afternoon. Oak needs to be stored for two years. Pines and other similar woods are full of resin and will tar up your chimney quickly.

Morning all. Bright but quite chilly start to the day. I have to buy some more chainsaw oil as there is a large pile of tree trunks waiting to be logged up. Still I can escape the bodies both human and canine for a time, and wonder if we really should have had a penalty last night.

Just walked home from my mum's - two Police officers were stood on the corner of the street and I couldn't help over hearing the conversation. One of them had just swapped out Sergio Agueiro for Harry Kane apparently. Quite nice to realise they're human sometimes - and that they were not waiting for me
