The potatoes par boiled, chucked in with some fried onions, bit of garlic, a few spices ( or just the mustard)

The meat into a sort of dry curryish number. Again onions, garlic/ginger (peppers if you have them) bit if stock at the end

Eggs I would use a bit for an egg fried rice (use onions and a bit of mustard) and a cheesy omelette on the side

Hmm food for thought. I've probably done enough to make everything...Or i could chop some more and make it all, and keep some for another day.

Sorted then mate. Have tbh I use curry pastes more than I should simply as it adds a little something. Even just a teaspoon

Potatoes certainly can be nicer with a tablespoon or so of curry paste thrown in after the onions and garlic have fried a bit and a couple of sliced mushrooms. Sort of a Bombay potato and mushroom bhaji in one

First rice is nicer with older rice but what I like to do is

In a pan fry up some onions and garlic etc. Add some veg it meat and fry that up a bit. Throw in the rice and let it take on the flavors for a minute or two. Add the water (cold) and bring to boil. When it's boiling stir, turn heat right down. Cover pan with foil, or a tea towel. Push on lid and let it slow cook for about 10-15 minutes.

I like to add spices to the onion and garlic. Dash of Worcester etc

Beautiful on it's own or with a pice of chicken, a curry type dish or simply with a Greek yogurt . Although I add diced onion and cucumber and seasoning to the youghurt

The yoghurt is optional (too healthy for you lol)

    Or the "raita"

Nice piece of fish or steak is better, or chicken.

Ah right got ya... The bit with the rice you said is basically a rissoto then..

The yoghurt thingy, just add garlic instead of the spices and you've got greek tzatziki, which i love

Yeah the rice thing is similar to a rissoto. We call it a biryani (not what you get in restaurants)

It tends to be a bit drier than a rissoto and we use basmati rice.
