Good evening Matt & all It would have been a steal had Blackburn taken home the three points, they were really poor! Even though our game was littered with errors we were the much better side, we created our own downfall by gifting Rovers both goals A unnecessary challenge from Ayling & another shot that embarrassed BPF my granny could have saved, his kicking was also shocking. I know Peacock-Farrell is only young & he has the potential to become an excellent No.1 in the future but his errors could cost us promotion, he can't expect his colleagues to continue getting him out of trouble. As a fan on the terraces I'm as nervous as hell every time the opposition has a shot from long distance Top
I was stood behind it Mulgrew the free-kick taker, he curled the ball round the wall with no real pace, a decent keeper would have plucked that ball out of the air & caught it, the ball was heading slightly to the right of BPF, he didn't even need to dive for the shot instead he obviously lost the flight of the ball & palmed it into his own net, a Gary Sprake moment I suggest
We haven't got enough bodies to rest players The bench is full of kids Baker is not good enough Harrison shouldn't be starting, he is just filling in Clarke can't do a full 90 minutes I've said from day one our squad numbers were vulnerable as we employ & have injury-prone players, the writing was on the wall early doors. The cupboard is bare so how is it possible to make any changes ?
Need to challenge you on that. There is one thing that Baker is very good for. That's 2 games in a row that we were about to bring him on as sub, but pulled him as we scored late winners. I think we should keep him for this tactic alone.
Sprake bl.ew hot an d we should nhbave b ought Shilton as we had the best defence apart from GaryHe was soon found out at Brum
Btw, Wakey, hope things start looking up for you. Should have said earlier. 'Bout time you got some luck.
Phil Hay says the club are not chasing Bowen because they want too much for him. So this story is still flying in around 17 media outlets but will go with what Phil says. Obvious that we will be signing someone in that role though
So Phil Hay says no, Amital Winehouse says yes, Mail says yes, Nixon says Hull are too greedy so wont happen. We should have a feeling one way or the other on Saturday
Mustn't lose sight of the fact that if we sign anyone, no matter who they are, they have to be Bielsa'd, so they won't be able to play immediately.
Morning all, personally I think Barry Douglas has been one of our best players this year and for the amount of time he has played and the influence he has had on results, Jack Clarke
Spanish paper Merde has a story that Leeds and Liecester are in for Ibai Gomez who has refused a new contract at Alavez. So this story still doing the rounds and although Gomez has a £10m release clause his contract is up at the end of the season so can walk on a free, so Alavez in a dilema and may have to accept a knock down offer. The paper said Orta had made an offer in the Summer but was turned down. Gomez is an ex Bielsa player so knows his role and will not need Bielsaering
