The FTRE boys pretty much went along the line of anywhere else on the pitch it’s a foul, so why not in the box? Not seen MOTD yet and it was up the other end from me so will have a look later but my instant reaction was pen. I guess it will probably be left as ‘I’ve seen them given, I’ve seen them not’.

The penalty could have gone either way but the leading teams always seem to get the benefit of the doubt. Chelsea's attacking play was very impressive and Hazard is certainly world class, he made the difference between the sides. Our team battled gamely and could have scraped a draw against a vastly superior team. We all seem to take for granted watching our team take on some of the best players in the world. Some of long passes and tackling by David Luiz was sublime, we could do with such a ball playing centre half.

The only way you can play against vastly superior players is to make sure they go away from the first 50/50 ball 'feeling it' in every bone of their bodies. You also water the pitch for a good 3 hours before the kick off - and turn up the crowd noise by 300%. In other words we are not good enough at 'bullying' our opponents - they should feel afraid of our players and of the crowd :emoticon-0130-devil

I offered my services to WFC to talk to the Chelsea players about Brexit before the game but the club said that would wind them up further. :emoticon-0100-smile

I've watched it again several times in the cold light of day... and stand by every word I've written.
If I wanted to be churlish I'd add that DM is less than informed in his interpretation of the laws and whilst the Chelsea youngster suffered a hamstring and gets a mention CK in an oxygen mask being, stretchered round to a waiting ambulance (and not a minute before Hazard scored their first) got no mention whatsoever. Usual tosh from the MotD team.

Batshuayi might fit, not sure Giroud would although I think he's a better finisher than anyone we have. A commanding centre half is what we need, certainly with CK probably out for a while (I've not seen an update).

I thought the GD incident was 50/50 as having watched it a few times they both seem to be holding each other. Delo should definately get an Oscar for his acting.
I thought the ref had a good game.
Why is Foster rushing off his line so quickly, he did it twice yesterday and also caused a penalty in a previous match?
Again I thought we played well and demonstrating some excellent football at times, just don't have a Hazard, but overall we have an excellent squad, the like we have never seen before.

Watching the game last night I was reminded of the cry baby whining from Zaha about him having to have his leg broken before a red card is issued, he should try being Troy Deeney he would have to be killed before he is awarded a free kick even
Chelsea may be great footballers but they are as dirty and physical as any of the lower premiums teams
As for the penalty not given to us, other way round and would have been a Chelsea penalty without doubt

On SSN they have a feature looking at the controversial ref decisions. Salah’s falling over is analysed but guess which one doesn’t even make the feature? Unbelievable.

OK Fez I get it we agree to disagree on the pen then! ;)

Hopefully Kabbs will be back, he is our best defender when he doesn't have a moment of madness, or injuring himself. Can't fault his commitment though. At least he didn't "Phil Bab" the post mind that looked much worse!

I once dived onto a post making a save, giving my quadriceps quite a bang. Having had the magic sponge and the resulting corner from my save going straight out for a goal kick I rather stupidly decided to take it.... the ball barely made it out of the area, I collapsed in a heap: I hadn't realised that most of the fluid in my leg had obeyed the laws of gravity. I didn't play for over a month after... I doubt CK will even make the bench tomorrow.
