Despite the calamity overload of this season's spring we're 7 pts better-off post Boxing Day than last season - all hail Nigel A
Those ****s have nowt like the obstacles we currently have though. Give Nige his jeroboam of Bell's now.
SB used the 10 wins and a handful of draws formula for the PL. For this division I reckon it's 14 wins and a handful of draws. We've got 8 wins and a handful of draws already. Relegation is surely now a long since forgotten Autumn incubus, and we can contemplate the sunlit uplands of midtable/late surge to playoffs if we can keep the current squad fit and intact. Given our current 'contropiede' style, maybe playing away suits us more than the KCOM?
If we are left alone or even 'strengthend' in Jan then I agree but, given a worse case scenario (whose margins experience has taught us to expect) in JTW, then the 5 or 6 wins could be our pathway
Fantastic win against a good team. Unfortunately I agree with Burnsey though, this is gonna be the highest point of the season. A point per game is the trusted formula to avoid relegation. Should get 18 points without Bowen, Growsicksi
Think Acko has got the team/squad playing better as a unit and we are not reliant on any individual(s) - certainly not Grozzer who blows hot and cold
Any sensible owner, would back a couple of loans and an outside shot at a playoff spot, but as depressing as Burnsys tweet was, there can't be many of us who totally disagree with the sentiment, we're only going one way, not sure we'll see Elphick again and surely one of Bowen or Turbo will be flogged :-(
Great win today but when you think of Irvine going for about 6 weeks .. Elphick possibly going back to Villa .. Campbell done his hamstring .. and the greedy bar stewards in change willing to take any monetary offers for Grosicki and Bowen it does make ya feel sick to the stomach .. sooner these shyte hawks fook off the better. I sympathise with Adkins .. how can you work under circumstances like these.
Been in pub all afternoon the wife said shall we go home get a film on and have a cup of tea( that's about has good has it gets now a days) anyway walked in put the kettle and the radio on for last few minutes and Yeeees great win, I said stuff the tea and opened a bottle of proseco, utt
I see "nige" still can't get anything out of. Toral and Dicko. I, for one, aren't fooled by this blip.
The way things might unfortunately turn out, he might have to get something out of Toral and Dicko. He's done a brilliant job Adkins and I'm happy to say I slated him. There must be a big sign on the dressing room wall saying "No I in Team".. or Together Everyone Achieves More. Whatever he is saying keep on saying it, because anyone who leaves will likely only strengthen the resolve of those that remain. This season is about two things. Staying up and getting rid of Dastardly and Muttley. (oh and a special gift beating TWS next Saturday)
I do think we are very reliant on Bowen, Growiski's pace down the flanks. We've no back up for these and unless we unearth another Harry Wilson, I think the 2nd half is gonna be tough.
It was always going to happen with these two toxic Muppets in charge, all of Adkins good work will be pissed on in the next 5 weeks or so, come the end of January I can see us looking over our shoulders once again towards the drop zone.
