That's a smashing photo isn't it. I wish I had one of my old man sat with Brucey. MInd he'd have been too busy turning round talking to him about football to take a good photo.
RIP to my grandad (Jack) who passed away this week aged 92. Lifelong City fan who like so many ticked the box when City finally got there in 2008. A Hessle Rerder all his life. One of his proudest moments was seeing 4 generations of his family sat there, then the Allams wreaked their havoc and then there was just 1.
Condolences mowds, used to enjoy watching him scuttling up Boulevard with his walker, about hundred miles an hour.. I don't know you but I know your dad and I knew your grandad. I'm an old neighbour of his.
Ha, he did get a new lease of life on that walker getting his Whisky from Asda in record time!! Funeral is Tuesday 8th at Chants Ave 12pm.
So pleased some of our really old supporters got to see us at Wembley and in the top league . Know many City fans of many years who died not seeing our recent " Golden era ". Deepest sympathy .
Sorry to hear about your Grandad's passing, as you say at least he saw us in the top flight, which many lifelong City fans did not manage. RIP Jack.

They were amazed when she did her shows unscripted as she’d spent most of her life solitary and silent. Yet spoke with great authority and knowledge. RIP Sister Wendy
