The Sky Blues looked a tidy side at the Valley earlier this season. With Portsmouth and Luton both playing scrubbers today, this is a game we must win to keep the gap at the top within reach.
Not entirely their fault though. That fat b*****d Göring and his Luftwaffe flattened it during WW2. I daresay it lost much of its architectural character along with thousands of people who lived there. All we want today is 3 points in a spirit of fair play and sportsmanship Have a great day, all Charlton fans who are going up there

Lost 2-1 Our fans who were there are saying that Aribo was a huge miss today in the midfield. A timely reminder of the way our season could turn out in January if the Belgian prick goes ahead and sells him. With respect to the likes of Lapslie and Pratley, they should not be starting games if we want promotion.
Aside from not selling Aribo, I hope his knee injury is not worse than the Club are letting on. (I am assuming it is really the injury that kept him out, not some kind of pre-sale agreement.)
Unbelievable rotten luck. If Aribo is going to be out for months, maybe even the rest of the season, even selling him (uninjured) in January would have been less harmful in theory, from the point of view of a promotion push this season. His wages would be off the budget and RD (a couple of million better off) might even have let Bowyer get in a loan player to try to replace him. I hope the news about Joe is not too bad. But with knees if it's serious it is usually a long time.
