It must be all that practice you're getting in with the Duke Ernie! - As you know, bikes can make a real difference…
If all stays to plan : Wednesday 7 September Driver choices will be revealed You can find out all this info on the first post by reading it.
Genji: Thanks for placing me 5th but I would just like to remind you I am actually 4th, not wishing to appear pendantic of course, best regards, E Becclestone.
Well Cosi, you are absolutely correct as usual, riding a bike does sharpen the senses considerably, evidently it appears all car drivers intent on killing you, do you agree every car driver should enrol on a bike Compulsory Basic Training course commonly known as CBT before they can take the car test. Even the lovely Mrs Becclestone agree's as she has witnessed first hand some of the low standards of awareness practiced by car drivers !!!!!!!!!!
Ernie - ouch! thats a bit of a generalisation. I only try to kill bikers when Wenger has annoyed me. ( I make my 17th court appearance on Friday). Will you admit that MOST bikers manage to drive so close the car rear bumper and blindspot that they are largely to blame? The others manage to overtake in such stupid situations that no wonder they are surprised when a car at the front of a queue is turning right and the bike won't stop that quick? I have worked for many years with a guy in a wheelchair who admits doing just that. A tough result for most riders. I will however make an exception for you - so no, I won't try to kill you.
Bergy: You are the exception my friend, and yes, bikers are their own worst enemy, just because they can react very quickly, they also mistakenly believe other road users can too, but thats not true is it. But I also know the majority of car drivers are not driving with due care and attention but are in a world of their own, playing with gadgets, phones, radios, sat nav's, mp3. ad infinitum. I drove over to Nottingham about 9.00 am the other morning along the A52, the standard of driving was appalling. Just have look the next time you are out and about and watch the other drivers habits.
