Like many idiotic football fans, you don't live in the real world. Fantasy Island is more your habitat.
If proof were needed just listen to the lunatics that invade 606 phonelines on a Saturday evening. <laugh>

I didn't say they should Taff. But you are right. It IS " the Yanks' business ". Sadly, too many on here still cannot grasp that fact. <cheers>

That way I get to talk to someone with a modicum of intelligence.

Better to be a " Billy no mates ", and than a 'never no brains'. <laugh>

Degree's in stupidity are handed out with Season tickets to most football Club's these days.

If I ever feel the need to talk to someone with intelligence, I would look anywhere other than in your direction. Sorry about that. I don't really mean to burst your bubble, but you did blow it up with your inflated sense of importance.

Who needs friends when they can have enema's like you. <laugh><cheers><ok><rose>

More fool the idiot who listens to 606 phonelines and calls the callers idiotic. You appear to get a perverse enjoyment of doing so, as though it makes you feel better about your own inadequacy.

The real issue is what you are doing on this forum. You have no current knowledge of football, have no emotional attachment to Swansea City FC, never go to see a game yet merely snipe at those who do.

You attempt to moderate supporters who voice their concerns/opinions of the Club in the role you describe as "Devils Advocate". I'd describe it as "sh.it stirring" or "trolling".

You are merely a boil on the arse of the forum. A boil that needs lancing.

I know just the prick for the job.

Would you play Dan James, Wayne Routledge or Asoro on the right flank?

Oops, I forgot, you have no knowledge of football.

    a simple few questions :

Would it be fair to say the owners of the teams at the top of the PL are doing a better job of running their clubs than owners of teams such as us and Hull etc ?

Would it also be fair to say that those clubs don't have fire sales or look to improve their clubs without investment ?

Are our owners more like FSG at Liverpool or Mike Ashley at Newcastle in terms of building the club ?

I'm not sure what owners we have at present ,this season and the summer will give us an inkling on what they plans are. I say yes a lot are good owners and even those not so fortunate to be a regular in the PL have owners who give back to the local community and vice versa .To say that all owners have no connection with the fans and see their Club purely as a business suggests that he has a very limited knowledge of how some football Clubs (ours included until recently) are seen as being part of the community .Rich benefactors have been around since football was invented and to dismiss all fans as being "idiotic" because they have an emotional attachment shows an ignorance bordering on stupidity

I'm not sure Stereo, because I don't know enough about those Clubs to comment.
I do know enough about the Swans though and will make comments as I see fit regarding how our Club is being run.
Merry Christmas to all true Swansea City fans. All others on this forum can sit on my middle finger <laugh>

Potter and the players are doing great in spite of the owners. Had the owners invested in the summer, we could fly out of this league.

If they are seriously committed to our club, they'll get the targets Pitter wants in January. I doubt it though.

But lets be fair here, The Americans have hit their target, They have almost got rid of those so called better players who were demanding outrageous wages and contracts but they failed to keep us up and were happy as long as they got paid.......The Americans said they were going to take a more active part other than bricks and mortar and they did that by getting rid or allowing players to be sold and drastically slashing the wage bill that was crippling us....They got their man with potter and they promoted or brought in youngsters who wanted to play for the club on less than half the wage of most of those who got us relegated....Now i believe in what the Americans have done and with just half a season gone we are doing better than any fan predicted and are still learning both potts and the players......The Americans are not here to lose money and that is right and they have got to find the right balance and i believe they are getting there and should potts bring in a couple of players we need at the right price then we can progress even further but dont expect big names looking for a final pay day because those days are gone and i'm very happy with that. What the Americans have done is brought stability back at the club and looking at the gates and looking at where we are they have achieved that in most parts.....The game against Villa is sold out and you cant get better than that....Not bad for half a season..

Can't argue with any of that but the proof will be in their actions forthcoming. Anyone with a modicum of sense would realise we can't pay PL wages when our income has been decimated by relegation and yes the high earners have to go (they're unlikely to take a pay cut so go they must), but when you have a two carrying out similar roles on similar pay and then see back office staff losing their jobs due to the incompetence that's what gets up fans noses .The yanks have done nothing so far to alter my opinion of them .

"The yanks have done nothing so far to alter my opinion of them ".

I wonder then who pays all the bills to keep the Club in business ? You ? Other keyboard warriors who can only muster the energy to complain non stop ?

Time to grow up. Do you really think anyone in authority at the Club gives a flying fig for you, or your blinkered, rather pointless opinions ? <rose><laugh>
