And a strange question at that because the people who can answer it are not here to do so. I may be wrong but donât thi nk I am, this board has gone very quiet of late and a lot of regulars seem to be missing. Now it could be for a number of things, maybe a lot are away on holiday. Maybe the International break is allowing people to take a beak. Maybe our uninspiring form has chased people. Maybe its the BoB. Maybe its the BiB. Maybe its both Or maybe the novelty is Waring off and its just one of those things. I know that I have been posting a few daft threads but TBH they have been more out of a sense of duty than any real interest and the same theme is showing on a few other boards. No scientific reason for asking the question more just being nosey and genuinely interested in others views.
Well you know my reasons for not being so active, Plus i stopped doing threads. Sure it'll pick up once the team and results do.
I honestly think it's a lot of all those things, but for me the main reason is probably the in-fighting which took place recently may have driven people to give it a rest for a while. However, I do think that this will change once we get a couple of good results, and all feels right with the world again.
I think the infighting could well have had an affect but what do we do, nothing that I can see. Everyone has the right to give an opinion and everyone has a right to oppose that opinion, either way. Yes I agree we should show restraint and I'm sure we all try to but our love for our team can bring passion and that passion can become OTT, thats what being a fan is all about. Now I'm starting to give an opinion that could lead to other opposing that opinion and here we go again. I do think the end to the transfer window and the fact that love him or hate him we are stuck with Bruce, for now, may lead to us talking footy. Its a bugger, how about we talk snooker..
The board is still the board. I haven't been on the last few days due to other commitments, but also because aI read a lot and find my opinion has already been said, and if I can't be original or bring anything to the table that's new, I don't write. Also, I don't like reading the BIG articles! The Cestria 50 million line ones? Know what I mean? Anyway Bruce out, but he has to be given a chance now with his squad....., So, Bruce out (eventually), or BOE. x
Since many are probably not Bib-i-di-Bob, and there is no footie at the mo and the transfer market has closed and the Cest saga was boring = nowt to talk about...
I think anyone who doesn't like debate, heated or otherwise, probably isn't suited to a forum. The wholepoint is to share opinions, often they will differ to yours, so you have it out. I'd sharp tire of a forum where everyone was in agreement, it'd be ****e.
Is that a cue for a joke or two, all balls to me so off you go, its all set up. thats put you on the spot.
