6-2 FT. Shaky at the back but it's no exaggeration to say that we could've scored ten. Very entertaining stuff, which makes Silva's decision to play so openly rather mystifying. 3rd place, 2 points behind City and we still haven't had a draw at Christmas.
Eriksen was absolutely everywhere that game, it would seem unfair not to give Son MOTM but Eriksen comes close. Bit worried about Sissoko and Dele picking up knocks as anyone who can play CM is gold dust for us right now, but Skipp looks so full of confidence you would back him to fill in for a game or two if needed. Glad to have Sanchez back.
Seriously it’s reached hysterical proportions now. One mention is plenty enough. 4, 5, 6 is literally an agenda being carried out. Let’s see how many times they mention it post match in the studio and when they interview Poch. It’s ridiculous
The win was most important today. The manner just icing on the (Christmas) cake. to Everton for at least trying to take the fight to Spurs (God did we need something resembling a game after the Dyche-ball last week) .
Bit disappointed with 6 but I suspect Spurs were "managing" the game and conserving their energy for the next match. Only managed to watch the last 30 minutes so missed the critical part of the game. I was impressed with the passing and defending. Skipp looks a natural and full of promise.
Yep, that was my favourite due to Davies and Son's one touch pass, and Kane's one touch strike. Excellent.
MOTD 2 tonight and there's only one game. How much time do you think that they'll spend talking about "other things"?
Have we found an instant replacement ‘moaning Portuguese manager’? I thought quite highly of him up to now, but suggesting that they were bossing it, going 1-0 up and a (correct - if softish) decision to cancel their ‘2nd’ goal was the turning point is pushing it a bit..... Sorry, Marco - it had more to do with you trying to play an open game, with a static defence against one of the fastest attacking teams in the PL.
2-6 to Spurs. For me it looks like life has come a complete circle. My first season watching Spurs 1953-4,I suffered with others a humiliating 2-6 beating by Preston North End at White Hart Lane, with a lot of "old Spurs" coming to the end of there careers. Tom Finney wasn't playing but his deputy just run rings around us. I don't think he lasted to long with them either...… I wonder what these "new Spurs" have in store for us...……..?
Getting absolutely ****ed in the boozer but lovely way to finish before Christmas. 6-2 away from home. Fackin lovely!!! COYS!
