Come May I think we'll look back on this day as a watershed moment. Time to start believing. F**k Yes Leeds ! F**k Yes !
remember you heard it here first...I AM HAPPY. Lets go with the youth and fekk the loanees send the buggers back.the academy is alive and thriving once more....you have heard of the Busby babes well it's now Bielsas babes.
You know we would not have won that if Clarke hadn’t been on the pitch second half. His contribution second only to mine.
Merry Xmas to you too. Good to here from people who are not small minded like some who used to visit this board.
Stan Collymore (@StanCollymore) December 23, 2018 Enjoyed Leeds a lot. Could do damage in league above based on this spirit, managerial experience and moulding of excellent youth. Good luck to them. Villa players should watch that second half a million times ones over and ask, "do we have that in this dressing room?"
please log in to view this image Phil Hay@PhilHayYEP Bielsa on the fact that since 2008 every team who are top of the Championship on Christmas Day have won promotion. "I hope we won't be the exception. You know that all rules have exceptions. That's why we take precautions." #lufc
Going to have to respectfully disagree with you slightly on Alioskis pass Ristac I've said a few times that Roof is a half lazy player. Alioskis cross was close enough for Roof to run onto it, the defender had quite a bit of time to head that ball down, and he had to bend down to do it, but as it happened, a mistake by their defender and it fell nicely for Roof who banged it home and give us the 3 points. Alioski played a much better game on his favoured right wing, he was creating problems for the Villa defenders all game. What I also noticed was Douglas's absence. Davis played down the left quite a lot, where as Douglas doesn't. We had more passes down left, especially to Clark this game than any game that Douglas played. Davis is a potential good LB defender, he did a good job against Villa, and Clark, once fully Bielsa fit is going to be a gem for us. Alioski was more in the game this match, the likes of Pablo, Klich, Forshaw etc were using him regularly. I think it was Pablo's pass to Alioski, and then Alioskis cross that got our third goal. Bielsa will have seen how effective Alioski is on his favoured right side, and seen how effective Clark was on left. Both players played out wide, thus stretching the Villa defence wider, creating more space for the likes of Klich and Pablo to come into, or from the middle........
Phil Hay@PhilHayYEP 18m18 minutes ago More Bielsa very impressed with Jack Clarke today but says Leeds still need to manage his development. Says he's been very effective as a sub and doesn't want to ask too much of him. #lufc
