Let me know next time you’re this way... away game maybe? Could have made you some for Derby, but you chose Chelsea
Having started the day in a field, in the dark, watching druids at work, I have just got back from Wells Cathedral, after an enthralling and musically perfect Candlelight Concert with the Cathedral choir. In case you folk from outside Somerset aren’t aware, Wells was voted by Gramophone magazine in 2011 the greatest choir including children in the world. Pretty flipping good! For light relief in between the sometimes heartbreakingly beautiful songs and carols we had Sally Phillips (Smack the Pony etc.) reading various poems and prose. What a day!
Love to visit Wells again...interesting place. Only had an hour there, so just time for lunch. Trouble is you can't get there by train (my transport of choice)
Don't know how old the small bottle of Gordon's gin is that I found at the back of the cupboard, but it had a metal clip top sealed with wax. Still tastes good though. Hic. Just googled it....metal clip top dates from the 50s.
Lordy, I genuinely hope you haven't really opened it... https://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/p/27419/gordons-dry-gin-bot1960s-spring-cap Couple of years ago a customer gave me a tip. I said "Thanks, just to warn you , I'll waste it on gin". She brightened up, shuffled off then came back and handed me a bottle of gin with a thick layer of dust on it. "Someone gave this to us and we can't stand the stuff". I asked when and she said "Ohh, don't know, but at least forty years". Vin
I have opened it, had it for years and I know from experience that I never get round to selling anything. And it was only a mini bottle.
Anyone seen the back flipping FBI shooting. Hot damn, that boy be crazy! And they let him have a gun!
It's quality not quantity. I am 68, so 77 seems close, but I would only want more time if was healthy and enjoyable.
I bought my baby boy a torch which he unfortunately put in his mouth. It was worth it though, just to see his little face light up.
