I am buzzing, we look a totally different team, determination is is flowing through the team!!

 

Terrific result. 3 Different goal scorers....pleased for Obafemi (our youngest scorer in the EPL) and also for Redmond. Very important points...notably because of Palace's win. All about keeping in touch at the moment. Great if we could add a win against West Ham (who lost to Watford today).

 

2 wins in 6 days, thought we would struggle with 2 wins in a season.

Yes and he has added a few moment of quality too. He will be keen to start so swapping him for the suspended Hojbjerg is not a disaster. Also Romeu has been excellent today.

As Ralph says they are jumping on the train as it leaves the station.

 

I thought we would win today. The performances have improved since the Man Utd game but under Ralph we seem to be able to put this in to results.

Looking at the table, I think that Fulham and Huddersfield do not have enough in the tank to catch us. The Burnley performance was supposedly good yet they still lost to Arsenal. I would be concerned if I supported Burnley because if they are in a purple patch, you would want to see some results. I am still not convinced they will get relegated and think Cardiff will get dragged in.

Without being too boastful, I can see us beating West Ham on 27th and wonder if we look back around March and start thinking how bizarre it was that everyone seemed to be expecting Saints to be dragged down. I always feel that a team needs to be a 20 points at Christmas to feel safe. A win on Thursday will mean we will be just 2 points short of this. Obafemi seems like an unlikely saviour for Saints - seems odd that we had a gem under our noses all this time without realising this.

It wasn't always pretty but it was effective. Subs made at the correct time and you can already see the support and togetherness of the players

Still improvements to be made but certainly looking enough to move away from the relegation zone.
