Forgotten his name, but could it be the lad signed just before Adkins was sacked...who returned to his parent club pretty quickly.
That's him....took me some scurrying to find his name. There were rumours that he was drinking and he was definitely unhappy....and his return to his club after we bought him was very strange.
Still plays for Molde, but was briefly signed by Brighton in 2016/17 (though never played). Not a lot of people know that. I certainly didn't.
Has the odd distinction of having been in the senior squad of three teams in his career, while only ever playing for one. Think he's very likely the player hinted at.
And in a way I do have sympathy with Les Reed. Perhaps he could have been more sympathetic (and none of us know what went on), but he may also have felt he'd been sold a pup by Molde and that is why Forren was taken back by his old club. Les might have exerted himself more for someone that had played for us for some time.
Speaking of local teams, would you Adam & Eve it, but we are actually unbeaten in our last NINE games against Bournemouth & Brighton; 2016/17 B'mouth 1 - 3 Saints Saints 0 - 0 B'mouth 2017//18 Brighton 1 - 1 Saints B'mouth 1 - 1 Saints Saints 1 - 1 Brighton Saints 2 - 1 B'mouth 2018/19 Brighton 0 - 1 Saints (Cup) Saints 2 - 2 Brighton B'mouth 0 - 0 Saints Bloody incredible considering.
I see today that Leeds Utd beat Aston Villa at Villa Park 3-2, after being 2-0 down at HT. To be honest, I secretly [well, not now] can't wait to see Leeds in the PL with Marcelo Bielsa as their manager. If he jumps ship, they can stay in the Championship. His playing style is what I want to see up against other clubs, because it is an exciting way to play and he's influenced so many successful managers.
