Any of the elder statespeople (like myself) remember seeing this programme in the 80's on Channel 4. It had Tony Robinson and Rory McGrath in it. Along with a few others whose names escape me. It was a bit hhit and miss but it had some cracking sketches in it. Never seen it repeated anywhere though. There that's my boring thread out of the way.
ER's fat, bald and has the complexion of a plate of baked beans. FACT. And I still knocked the old slapper back.
Does anyone remember a comedy called Colin's Sandwich? I have this vague memory of it being quite funny but no one else seems to remember it.
Who Dares Wins was pretty good - Jimmy Mulville was in it as well i think Colin's Sandwich was a programme about a man who worked for BR and wanted to be a writer. I always thought it was very funny but then Mel Smith could read the Gettysburg Address and I'd be in stitches.
You still friends with the guy on stilts in the circus? Yes, I know, it was a **** joke, if you can even call it that, don't go on about it.
