You’re right, This is something the FA should be all over and there is so much cash around the game, that there is no real excuse. The lack of qualified coaches in this country compared to other parts of Euope has been well publicized, so I don’t know why PE teachers are not offered free or heavily discounted rates.
It may be old hat in Southampton in 50 years time. The universe is a far better place for a bit of diversity
I do think some schools are now called “FA Approved” or similar. You’re bang on with the number of coaches. The stat banded about after the last euros was Iceland having 850 qualified coaches and England 1200. Crazy.
Yeah, could do worse than to copy the French system. Clairefontaine has now produced two generations of elite-level players, and the satellite academies have produced even more.
No I genuinely don’t know what your point is. Reading your last sentence I will take it as a derogatory comment. Most people will recognise that I was poking gentle fun at the way some Yorkshire folk speak, shortening the word the to t. As in t’stairs, t’lion, t’witch and t’wardrobe, not forgetting t’wit. Take offence for all I care, I have real things to worry about rather than you.
****ing drama queen. It appears you thought I was making a point .I was merely making an observation. In no way was my original statement derogatory. Maybe you do worry about stuff too much, lighten up mate, I hear it's Christmas!
Bit harsh Billy on the opening line? St B does have something big to worry about, but you may not have read about that.
Well thats a fight out of nowhere. It's clear you at least both misunderstood each other once. just let it drop and enjoy saints hammering Huddersfield.
In ordinary circumstances the opening line may not be overly harsh, but in context of B having something big going on (and I literally have no idea about that) then perhaps so. Thanks for bringing my attention to that. Badger - all apologies if I’ve gone ott, and hope all works out
