Wouldn’t say any one particular CB is better than the rest in the Prem at the moment, there’s about 5 or 6 who’d make most/ all sides’ XIs in Europe. As for best CB in the world, Ramos is the best leader as well as a fantastic CB but Godin for me is just the elite of the elite when it comes to actual defending. Bloke’s been a monster for Atleti for the best part of a decade. You could probably play him on his own at the back and keep clean sheets most weeks.
Yeah Godin is a great CB. Still wouldn't swap...mainly due to age! You seriously saying VVD isn't the best in the PL though? I think every single defensive statistic points out he is.
