    Thanks mate.

Next couple of weeks will be a doddle tbh, improved my life loads in just 4 months and spending time with my boy I don't even feel like drinking.

You should, as a semi regular binge drinker you'd probably feel a huge benefit. Remember it's not about giving up, but changing your relationship with alcohol <ok>

Yeah probably be a good thing. I would save a fortune as nobody just goes out for a 7/8 pints anymore, you throw in all the other **** and you are probably spending £150+ twice a week on nights out.

I don't really enjoy alcohol, I drink to socialise with mates. I'll never have just a pint/glass of wine with dinner or a drink at home after a long day at work. It is either drink 15 pints or drink nothing, so I'm not sure how much I would miss it long term. As I said before it is more the socialising and filling my spare time with other stuff that might be a struggle to begin with.

Just got back to my office to find a load of Jack Daniels and Vodka, I don’t like either. Wrap it up and re-gift it, that’ll do.

Last paragraph sounds like me, only enjoy it upto the tipsy part then I hate it. I never considered non alcoholic beers until @gooner4ever mentioned them and I actual quite enjoy them now.

If you've got good company you'll be surprised at how quickly you get used to going to a boozer not drinking.

Could do what I've done n go to more aways too

Becks Blue is the best I’ve found of 0% beers.

I used to mix half and half sometimes when I was driving. I figured (hoped) that I could have 3 pints and not be over the limit.

Not sure they do non alcoholic cider, may aswell just drink apple juice :D I went to the pub a few times during my last break from booze but there is only so long you can sit there sipping something non alcoholic while everyone else is getting more and more pissed/wired/going for a cigarette every 5 minutes before I was bored. Probably just need new mates.

I am tempted by aways or maybe a season ticket next year, this is most likely going to be my last season actually playing football so should have my Saturday's free for the first time in my life really. If I stick to no booze I reckon the money I save in a couple of weeks would pay for a season ticket or travel to quite a few aways

I’m different to Saints in that I’m happy to go to the bar for an hour/ hour and a half and have say 3 pints. I’m also happy to go to the bar and drink non alcoholic stuff and just talk about footie, rugby, or whatever with mates,

If drink was all I was interested in I’d stay at home and do it. Cheaper too!

Interesting conversation, I've got a football club Christmas thing in couple of hours and was going to have a couple of beers and leave the car there tonight.

Might just see what alcohol free beers they have instead.

I don't think I've ever had one of the newer, allegedly ok, ones.

I think the original was called Hemeling or something. Was horrible.

I just know that whatever is available will not taste anywhere near as good as the gin and ginger beers I was knocking back last night!
