Yep, there are 3 or 4 young players who play for Dinamo Zagreb who look like they could be top class. (Kovacic etc.)
This Badelj bloke, has anyone actually seen him play more than just highlights, wikipedia and some computer game? Oh, and further to the OP, if Leandro's price has gone up whats happened to Cahill's....
Yeah I've heard of Kovacic, though Badelj is the only one I've seen play. Vrsaljko is meant to be a decent right back too, though it's fair to say that's the one department we don't need strengthening.
Yep, my grandparents emigrated to Zagreb, I went to visit them during the summer, and watched Dinamo play a friendly against another Croatian team (name escapes me) with my Grandad. His skill on and off the ball was pretty amazing. The other guys were also pretty impressive.
DB I think Cahill's situation is different Bolton might want more but if they accept that he is going in January then his value can't go up, just stay around the same as it is now. Whereas Leandro is still under contract and doesn't need to leave just yet.
lets hope that we've got our scouts employed looking at players like him between now and January then, instead of their normal targets of ex-Spammers, mercenaries and players looking for a last pay-day. It can go up if his form initiates a bidding war, surely?
I've seen him play a couple of times for Dinamo, does look a cut above the other players in the team. Plays quite similar to Modric in terms of dictating the game and also has a decent shot on him though I don't think he has that agility like Modric. From what I've seen he'd certainly look like he could become a top player though like I said it's only a handful of appearances plus youtube clips I've watched of him so I suppose I couldn't bank on it.
That goal looked remarkably like a lot of Defoe's. Apart from there presumably weren't six attempts he shot straight at the keeper before one went in...
Very good player - but we all know that. Let's hope that Levy has already set up a deal for January 2012. If not there's always Carlton Cole!
