I do Dry January every year. I make it as far as our traditional New Year’s Day lunch.

 

I've managed about 6 weeks before. The main issue is that I pretty much became a hermit, never went out and saw people as all everyone I know does socially is go to the pub. I never drink at home so that's no issue just turn into a right loser and don't see my mates.

Is you knocking them off early instead of a Christmas bonus? When do you usually knock them off?

 

No they just get to go home at lunch time instead of working til 4 today. They’ve all had Xmas presents etc already.
