It looks to me like we are going for Poch.

Paul Mitchell is rumoured to be on his way in as DoF, and that looks like it’s being put in place to enable Poch, who was disappointed when Mitchell quit Spurs by all accounts.

If we want him and he wants us, the money is no object.

 

I hope not.

I quite like him and Spurs are watchable under his tenure.

They'll have to give him a proper war chest for him to go.

I think that Utd know that if they really want Poch, it's going to take a "softly, softly" approach, which is why they are prepared to play it out until the summer.
I actually think if they tried to prize Poch away now, he would say no.

I've just seen the interview that Poch gave immediately after Mourhinho was sacked, where he talks about sitting down with Fergie. The hack was clearly trying to lead him towards revealing a desire to emulate Ferguson at United.

What Poch did was to remind the hack that Fergie won his first title in his seventh year at United, and he said that it's still early for him at Spurs.
